MARK YOUR CALENDARS ✨The Wombs of the World Global Summit is coming to Mexico City, March 18 to 20, 2027, and we are now accepting proposals for workshops and panels.

Our theme is:
Remembering. Reclaiming. Reimagining.

We are gathering birthworkers, midwives, educators, advocates, artists, healers, researchers, storytellers, and community leaders from around the world to share knowledge, ceremony, skill, and vision.

 Our doula training is not just about learning what to do at a birth.

It is about learning how to think, listen, advocate, witness, support, and build a meaningful body of work.
Inside the training, we talk about physiology, comfort measures, birth options, postpartum care, trauma-informed support, full-spectrum care, reproductive justice, business foundations, and global approaches to birth.

None of this work would be possible with Kai.

And what she says here is true. We are receiving feedback from the hospitals that C-section rates are dropping. That fundal pressure (during pushing not afterwards) has significantly reduced. This. Is. Amazing.

Educating on patience and positions and pain management is just an opportunity to give more tools, tools that are intuitive to our bodies, to a medicalize context that has so focused on managing a physical feat into a spreadsheet.

Most nurse midwives in Tanzania receive one semester of Midwifery education. That is one semester to essentially learn the recipe to prepare someone for a C-section.

And as we know, birth is unpredictable. Our Art of Labour Method training aims to provide more context as to why kindness and encouragement, and the production of oxytocin is evidence based and how we can be incorporated into these clinical systems.
