International Women's Club of Mexico City

International Women's Club of Mexico City The IWC of Mexico City is an organization that facilitates both social and charitable events and involvement among its members and the Mexico City community.

Since its inception in 1977, the IWC of Mexico City (formerly Newcomers Club) has been a continual source of information, friendship, camaraderie, education, and community service for its members. The IWC is committed to providing an English language space for its members to learn more about life in Mexico, become involved in the community through service and social events, and enjoy Mexico City.

While the IWC stands for International Women’s Club, we recognize that anyone can benefit from membership in our club. The club is open to anyone: all nationalities and genders.

🎒 WE’RE HALFWAY THERE! 💜✨

Thanks to your incredible support, we’re already halfway to our goal of helping children start the school year with the supplies they need. 📚✏️

Together with El Pozo de Vida, the International Women’s Club of Mexico is supporting children from the Bunko Community Center in Roma and migrant families facing vulnerable circumstances.

And there’s more than one way to help! 💛

💵 Donate: Just $7 USD can provide the basic school supplies for one child.

🎒 Sponsor a backpack: We still have several children waiting for their backpacks! Swipe ➡️ to see their ages, school grades, and the colors or characters they requested. You can purchase and donate one of these backpacks to help make a child’s back-to-school wish come true. 🥹💕

✨ Every contribution, big or small, helps remove one more barrier to education.

POR or PARA? That is the question! 😅

Does using “por” or “para” trip you up when speaking Spanish? You’re definitely not alone!

Join us for a FREE online workshop with Eugenia from Spanish on the Road and finally master the difference between these two tricky little words. 🙌

Through theory + practical exercises, you’ll learn when to use por, when to use para, and — most importantly — feel more confident using them in real conversations. 💬✨

First Fridays Open Art Studio .floart

We’d love to welcome our IWC friends and families to our First Fridays Open Studio at Galería Estudio E. Flo Art! 🎨✨

Held on the first Friday of every month, our Open Studio is a relaxed, intimate, and family-friendly opportunity to visit the gallery, explore the working studio, and spend an evening surrounded by art.

Every piece in the gallery is original artwork painted by artist and longtime IWC sponsor E. Flo, offering a chance to experience his work up close and get a glimpse into the space where it is created.

Bring a friend, bring the family, enjoy some art, and come say hello!

Snacks and beverages will be available.
We’d love to see you there! ❤️
