PAVA members are invited to nominate or self-nominate for the 2026 Board of Directors elections. If you care about the future of vocology, voice science, and interdisciplinary collaboration across our field, this is a meaningful way to get involved.

Open positions for 2026: • President-Elect (4-year leadership track) • Treasurer (3-year term) • Membership Director (3-year term) • Canadian Governor (3-year term)

PAVA is a growing organization with important work ahead. Board service is active and collaborative, with a monthly 90-minute meeting and leadership responsibilities on a major initiative. While these are volunteer roles, they offer the chance to shape programming, research initiatives, and the direction of our field across North America and beyond.

Geographic and disciplinary diversity remain priorities. We welcome nominations representing singers, teachers, speaking voice coaches, SLPs, scientists, conductors, educators, physicians, and more. Nominees must be current full members of PAVA and willing to serve.

DEADLINE EXTENDED

📆 Nominations are open through March 25, 2026 (11:59 PM ET).
 Elections conclude in May, with new Board members beginning orientation in June and officially taking office September 1.

Members may self-nominate or nominate a colleague (with their consent).
