The Center for Latin American Monetary Studies is the regional association of central banks in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its main objective since 1952 has been cooperation among its members to promote a better understanding of regional monetary and financial issues.

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Papers for the CEMLA Conference 2026 is now open; the Conference will be held on November 5-6, 2026, at CEMLA’s facilities in Mexico City (face-to-face).

We invite contributions within the broad range of topics of interest to central banks, including (but not limited to) monetary theory and policy, financial intermediation, climate-related aspects of financial stability and monetary policy, digitalization, financial markets, payment systems, and other financial market infrastructures. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome.
