meta es desarrollar economías sustentables mientras que simultáneamente
forjamos una cultura de coexistencia. La creación de sistemas
ambientalmente responsables, es vital para transformar a la Ciudad de
México en una ciudad más sustentable. Creemos que la única manera de
afectar el cambio climático es reclutar a la opinión pública,
haciéndolos participes de nuestro trabajo. Trabajamos con diversos tipos de instituciones, como el Gobierno del
Distrito Federal, despachos privados y compañías públicas. Recibimos
parte de nuestro financiamiento de donadores privados, sin embargo, la
mayoría de nuestros recursos vienen de organizaciones con las que
colaboramos. A cambio, los proyectos que diseñamos mejoran la imagen
pública de las compañías que nos financian. VERDMX promueve una consciencia ambiental a través de instalaciones de
arte en el espació público. Tratamos de moldear ciudadanos que sean
ambientalmente responsables. Nuestros proyectos toman en cuenta
investigaciones científicas, arte, y urbanismo. Su propósito es
involucrar al público y fomentar la cohesión social. En VERDMX creemos
que es de vital importancia educar a los ciudadanos de la Ciudad de
México acerca de los asuntos ambientales.

English: We are a non-profit organization that combines environmental action with
community outreach. We collaborate with the government and green
business to develop sustainable economies. We do not have any political
affiliations. VERDMX is a way of life. VERDMX strives to change the way we think and the way we live; in order
to change the future, we must act now. At VERDMX, we believe that it is very important to make México City a
livelier place through connecting the public to nature. Our goal is to
develop sustainable economies while simultaneously forging a culture of
coexistence. Creating environmentally sound systems is vital to
transforming México into a more sustainable city. We believe that the
only way to affect environmental change is by enlisting the input of the
public through engaging them in our work. VERDMX is a non-profit organization that has no political affiliations. We work with many different types of institutions such as the Mexico
City government, private firms, and public companies. We receive part of
our funding through private donations however most of our funds come
from the organizations that we collaborate with. In return, the projects
that we design improve the public image of the companies that fund our
projects. VERDMX promotes environmental consciousness through public art
installations. We try to mold environmentally responsible citizens in
México City. Our projects take into account scientific research, art,
and urban planning. Their purpose is to engage the public and encourage
social cohesion. At VERDMX we believe that educating the citizens of
México City about environmental issues is of the utmost importance.
