We will present - 100 Days of Lumbunging: Reclaiming the Museum -, together with MG Pringottono, who will share insights into the collective living process developed inside the Fridericianum Museum in Kassel. The conversation will revisit how domesticity, collectivity, and institutional space intersected within the museum framework.
Gudskul, founded in 2018, is an educational platform initiated by three Jakarta-based collectives: ruangrupa, Serrum, and Grafis Huru Hara. Since the early 2000s, these collectives have independently practiced collective models within the field of contemporary art. In 2015, they consolidated their collaboration through Gudang Sarinah Ekosistem. Building on this experience, Gudskul developed a knowledge-sharing platform for those interested in collective and ecosystem-based approaches to art and education.
MG Pringgotono has been active in the arts since 1997 and studied at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Originally aspiring to become a school teacher, he found in artistic practice a broader pedagogical field. In 2006, he co-founded Serrum, a collective focused on public and arts education. From 2016 to 2018, he served as Program Manager at Gudang Sarinah Ekosistem, and he is currently Director of Gudskul Contemporary Art Collective and Ecosystem Studies. He has also contributed to numerous exhibitions as art director, exhibition designer, and curator.
