Dubai is a gateway for companies and for the export of products to untapped markets such as the Middle East and Africa markets.

The government has carried out a series of economic and administrative policy reforms to attract capital and business enterprises from around the world, such as:

1. Promotion by reducing the overall cost of setting up a business. Efforts have been made to reduce the business incorporation rate.

2. Facilitate the processing of building permits by implementing a risk-based approach to reduce the number of inspections.

3. It is considered the best place to expand business internationally due to the strategic development of the country considered between the economies of the East and the West.

Mexico and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are strengthening their bilateral relationship with an emphasis on technological innovation, trade, culture, and energy, said Salem Rashed Alowais, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, during the UAE's 53rd national anniversary.

The countries highlighted a memorandum of understanding signed in 2023, which aims to enhance the partnership between both nations.

"As ambassador, my mission is to promote this relationship with an eye to the future. Our shared vision of progress and collaboration drives us to explore new opportunities for cooperation at all levels," says Alowais.

Mexico and the UAE strengthen ties with a focus on innovation, trade, culture, and energy, aiming for strategic collaboration and growth.

Drydocks World, una destacada empresa del grupo Dubai Ports World, anunció este lunes la firma de un contrato trascendental con AMIGO LNG de México.

Para llevar a cabo un proyecto de ingeniería, adquisiciones y construcción (EPC) que culminará en la instalación de la planta de licuefacción de gas natural licuado flotante (FLNG) más grande del mundo.

Este innovador emprendimiento incluye la conversión de dos buques metaneros en Unidades Flotantes de Almacenamiento (FSU) y la construcción de dos barcazas FLNG desde cero en sus instalaciones de Dubai.

Se prevé que la planta, ubicada frente a Guaymas, Sonora, y alimentada por gas natural de la Cuenca Pérmica estadounidense, entre en operación en el segundo semestre de 2028

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held talks with Mexican Minister of Economy Marcelo Luis Ebrard during his working visit, as the two countries signed a number of agreements.

The two sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand collaboration in key areas such as energy, advanced technology and food security were also explored.
