A few times an year members of our Costa Maya Ministries board travels down to Mahahual and Chetumal. The main purpose of the visits is to encourage and support our pastors and their families and the members of both churches.

They also enjoy worshipping together, assisting with various projects around the churches, and helping in whatever way they are able.

💐 Mother's Day Celebrations in Mahahual and Chetumal!

Both Cruz de Cristo churches took some time to celebrate the mothers on Sunday and everyone had a wonderful time!

In Mahahual: Photos with mom, lunch, and a fun outing to enjoy the sunshine

In Chetumal: Special songs, gifts, and a delicious meal

We thank God for the incredible blessing of mothers. We are so grateful for all the moms who share God’s love each and every day!

Bible studies are in full swing at Cruz de Cristo - Mahahual! Classes for adults, teens, and children are offered. It's a blessing to be able to gather together to study God's Word.

In México, the last day of April is El Día de los Niños - Children's Day! It's a holiday dedicated to celebrating childhood and the day is all about making children feel extra loved.

At Cruz de Cristo - Chetumal, they were able to share the most important love of all with the children: the love of Jesus. They celebrated with joy and fun but also reminded each child how deeply they are loved by their Savior. What a blessing to shine His light on such a special day!

English classes are one of the many ways we serve and reach the community in Mahahual. Both youth and adult classes are offered. They are great ways to make connections with different families! In these classes, Pastor and the teachers share the love of Jesus with each and every student as well as teach them some English.

We are so thankful for our volunteers. Becky is teaching and serving with her husband at Cruz de Cristo - Mahahual. She shared that "we are so thankful that we are able to share our light and love with others!"

Costa Maya Ministries' Holy Week and Easter Recap :

🌴Palm Sunday: Both churches in Mahahual and Chetumal celebrated Jesus' triumphal, humble entry into Jerusalem with a beautiful worship service.

✝ Good Friday: The members at Cruz de Cristo - Mahahual traveled a couple hours over to Chetumal for worship and special fellowship together with the members there. It was such a blessing for these two congregations to be together!

🌅 Easter Sunday: Both churches celebrated the resurrection of our Savior with joyful worship and song! They gathered together afterwards for some delicious food and time together.

We pray that your Holy Week and Easter celebrations were very blessed!
