🇲🇽 Meet our two new mission workers at Costa Maya Ministries! 🇲🇽
Evan Otto and Elijah Bagasao recently arrived in México to help serve at the Cruz de Cristo churches in Mahahual and Chetumal! They’ve already been enjoying meeting the pastors and members, getting to know their new communities, and finding ways to serve.
Meet Evan!
Evan is a sophomore at Martin Luther College studying on the pre-seminary track with a Spanish minor. Coming from a family of called workers, mission work and sharing the Gospel have been a part of his life for many years. He has traveled to Argentina and Mexico on Spanish immersion and mission trips and is excited to build relationships and share Jesus with the people of Mahahual and Chetumal.
In his free time, you’ll probably find Evan running, playing basketball, or making (and drinking!) coffee. ☕
Meet Elijah!
Elijah is also a sophomore at Martin Luther College studying pre-seminary with a Spanish minor. Growing up traveling across the U.S. with his family gave him an appreciation for meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. He has participated in Spanish immersion and mission trips to Argentina, Arizona, and Mexico.
In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, being outside, playing guitar, and cheering on the Brewers! ⚾
We’re thankful God has given Evan and Elijah the opportunity to serve in México this year, and we’re excited to see how he will use them to share the Gospel and build relationships in Mahahual and Chetumal!
Please keep Evan and Elijah, the pastors and their families, and the Cruz de Cristo congregations in your prayers!
