Honey Museum - El Museo de la Miel Dedicated to saving the Melipona bee, the native bee of Yucatan and its role in the life of the Maya.

The Honey Museum / El Museo de la Miel is dedicated to protecting the bees of Yucatán and the Maya region:

The Melipona bee is threatened. The Museum will proved a fair trade environment for Maya villagers to sell the honey and honey products they cultivate. The Museum will be open to the public and will work to educate children about the need to protect the world in which we live.
