This little boy was born on Memorial Day, and at just 2 weeks old, he is already learning his way with a halter and lead rope. From what we can tell, this little guy is going to be huge, just like his momma, Sandy.

The Rounders purchased Sandy and Dot in 2019 when they were 7 and 11 years old from Mr. Blount. Since then, they have pulled the Rounders wagons with such ease and have been nothing short of wonderful mares.

With Mr. Blount’s help from above, we know we still have several good years left with them. And now, with both Sandy’s and Dot’s babies, we have the next Rounders team waiting in the wings.

We are deeply grateful to all the investigators who worked so diligently to bring clarity and resolution to this case. It is truly heartbreaking to come to terms with such a tragic loss, especially under these circumstances.
Our hearts and prayers remain with the family and the many friends of Mr. Blount whose lives he touched in so many ways. He will be remembered with love and respect, and his memory will live on in all who knew him.
Godspeed, Mr. Blount—you will not be forgotten.

James "Jim" Blount, a cherished figure in the trail riding community, was found dead this week. His son, Justin, now faces murder charges.

On behalf of the Rounders, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Jim Blount. Jim attended our rides and was, at one time, a valued member of the Rounders Group. This is a heartbreaking loss, and we are all deeply saddened as we try to come to terms with this tragedy. We are truly beside ourselves. Mr. Blount was a strong man who genuinely loved his animals and was an exceptional teamster. He touched the lives of so many, was known as a hard worker, and earned the utmost respect of his peers. We are truly grateful to have known him and to have shared a part of his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and we pray that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is able to find those responsible and bring them to justice during this incredibly difficult time. 🙏🙏🙏

Those who knew Jim Blount say they thought he was "indestructible." Now they're left mourning his loss and hoping investigators can find whoever is responsible.

Rider in the Sky, Jim Blount, passed away yesterday. While we do not have any details at this time, a celebration of life will be forthcoming.

Please keep the Blount family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
