East Cape Guild is non-profit organization offering scholarships to students who meet the criteria The costs then become the responsibility of the family.

The Mexican government provides free education only through the 9th grade. With the annual costs to attend high school approaching $500, many students are not able to continue. The students we fund must demonstrate financial need as well as academic achievement. We have awarded over 2619 scholarships since we began the program in 1998. With the help of hard working volunteers and generous donors,

we have been able to award scholarships to all qualified students for the last two years. However, we have not been able to include the cost of uniforms or other necessary school supplies. We believe that education is one of the most valuable investments we can make in these young people. They are the future of our community!
