Las Hermanas de Troncones

We recently visited the public schools in Troncones and Majahua to better understand how we can support the incredible efforts of the Padres de Familia.

These parent-led groups work hard to fund maintenance and supplies for their schools, and our goal was simply to listen, learn, and assess where Las Hermanas can be most helpful.

We’re grateful for the time, insights, and dedication shared with us, and we look forward to supporting these communities in meaningful ways.

Recientemente visitamos las escuelas públicas de Troncones y Majahua para comprender mejor cómo podemos apoyar los increíbles esfuerzos de los Padres de Familia.

Estos grupos, liderados por los propios padres, trabajan arduamente para financiar el mantenimiento y los suministros de sus escuelas, y nuestro objetivo fue simplemente escuchar, aprender y evaluar en qué áreas Las Hermanas pueden ser de mayor ayuda.

Agradecemos profundamente el tiempo, las ideas y la dedicación que compartieron con nosotros, y esperamos poder apoyar a estas comunidades de manera significativa.

Estudiante del mes
Arleth Ivon Benítez Ignacio

Es una alumna de tan solo 12 años, que cursa el primer año de secundaria en Troncones y asiste con constancia y entusiasmo a nuestros talleres de inglés en el centro de aprendizajes de las hermanas. Este galardón se entrega en reconocimiento a su esfuerzo incansable, su dedicación ejemplar y su actitud responsable, cualidades que la han destacado como un modelo a seguir para sus compañeros.

Arleth demuestra en cada clase su compromiso con el aprendizaje y su visión de futuro: su sueño es convertirse en una dentista profesional, y sabemos que con la misma entrega que pone hoy, logrará alcanzar sus metas y contribuir con su talento al bienestar de los demás.

Arleth Ivon Benítez Ignacio

Arleth is a 12-year-old student currently in her first year of secondary school in Troncones. She attends our English workshops at the Las Hermanas Learning Center with consistency and enthusiasm. This award is given in recognition of her tireless effort, exemplary dedication, and responsible attitude—qualities that have distinguished her as a role model for her peers.

In every class, Arleth demonstrates her commitment to learning and her vision for the future. Her dream is to become a professional dentist, and we know that with the same dedication she shows today, she will achieve her goals and contribute her talents to the well-being of others.

Student of the Month is Zoe Ortega Garcia

Congratulations to our dear Zoe!

Zoe is a first-grade student who has proven to be a true star in the Sisters' workshop. With her charming smile and infectious enthusiasm, she has won the hearts of all her teachers and classmates.

Zoe is a very caring and supportive girl, always willing to help her friends and share her knowledge. Her intelligence and dedication have led her to excel in all subjects, especially reading and writing.

But what truly makes Zoe special is her passion for animals. Since she was little, she has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and is already working hard to make her dream a reality. With her curiosity and love of learning, we are sure she will go far.

Congratulations, Zoe, on being our student of the month! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

Zoe es una alumna de primero de primaria que ha demostrado ser una verdadera estrella en el taller de las hermanas. Con su sonrisa encantadora y su entusiasmo contagioso, ha conquistado el corazón de todos sus maestros y compañeros.

Mateo Garcia Salamanca is the Student of the Month

Mateo, a first-grade student at just six years old, is a role model. With his charming smile and friendly heart, he's a joy to have at the Sisters' Learning Center. He loves reading adventure stories and playing soccer with passion. His dedication in class and his supportive spirit towards his classmates make him stand out. With big dreams of becoming a firefighter or veterinarian, Mateo wants to save lives, put out fires, and care for the animals he loves. Congratulations, Mateo, you are Student of the Month! 👏"

Mateo, estudiante de primer grado con apenas seis años, es un ejemplo a seguir. Con su sonrisa encantadora y su corazón amigable, es un placer tenerlo en el Centro de Aprendizaje de las Hermanas.
