IGNACIO ABURTO MARTÍNEZ

Con orgullo reconocemos a Ignacio Martínez, alumno de 17 años, como Estudiante del Mes por su ejemplo de disciplina, esfuerzo y superación.

Ignacio combina su preparación académica en la Preparatoria Abierta con su trabajo en la purificadora de Troncones, demostrando que cuando se quiere, se puede. Su meta es clara: concluir el bachillerato e ingresar a la Marina de México para servir a su país.

Además, acude con constancia y empeño a las clases de inglés en el Centro de Aprendizajes de las Hermanas, convencido de que dominar una segunda lengua le abrirá más puertas en el futuro.

Ignacio nos recuerda que la inteligencia, el trabajo y los sueños son la mejor combinación para transformar el futuro.

Es listo, trabajador y no se rinde. Por eso hoy es nuestro Estudiante del Mes.

Ignacio: gracias por enseñarnos que el esfuerzo siempre vale la pena. ¡Sigue así, marinero!

With great pride, we recognize Ignacio Martínez, a 17-year-old student, as our Student of the Month for his example of discipline, dedication, and personal growth.

Ignacio balances his academic studies through the Open High School Program with his work at the Troncones water purification facility, demonstrating that when there is determination, anything is possible. His goal is clear: to complete high school and join the Mexican Navy to serve his country.

In addition, he consistently attends English classes at Las Hermanas Learning Center with commitment and enthusiasm, convinced that mastering a second language will open more doors for his future.

Ignacio reminds us that intelligence, hard work, and dreams are the best combination for transforming the future.

He is smart, hardworking, and never gives up. That is why today he is our Student of the Month.

Ignacio: thank you for showing us that effort is always worthwhile. Keep going, sailor!

Today, we want to take a special moment to recognize the tremendous effort, dedication, and perseverance of one of our most outstanding students: Melissa Vega Benítez.

Melissa is 14 years old and is currently in her third year of *telesecundaria* (distance-learning secondary school) here in Troncones. Since arriving at Las Hermanas Learning Center, she has proven that when a person sets a goal and works with discipline, no obstacle can stand in their way.

Her commitment is evident in every class, in every assignment submitted on time, and in her punctual attendance at the English workshop—where she always arrives with a positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn. This speaks volumes about her sense of responsibility and the respect she holds for her own personal growth.

But what inspires us most about Melissa is her dream. She wants to continue her studies to become an excellent architect, so that she may help her family. This desire to better herself—not just for her own sake, but for the sake of those she loves—is a true reflection of a big heart and a determined mind.

Melissa, today we recognize you for more than just your good grades. We recognize you for being an example to your peers, for demonstrating that perseverance is worth more than raw talent if that talent is left uncultivated, and for reminding us that dreams truly can be achieved—one step at a time.

Congratulations, Melissa! May this recognition serve as yet another boost on your journey toward the career you so deeply desire. Las Hermanas Learning Center is incredibly proud of you, and we know that the community of Troncones will be just as proud when they see the very first project you design brought to life.

Hoy queremos hacer una pausa especial para reconocer el gran esfuerzo, dedicación y constancia de una de nuestras estudiantes más destacadas: Melissa Vega Benitez

Melissa tiene 14 años y actualmente cursa el tercer grado de telesecundaria aquí en Troncones, desde que llegó al centro de aprendizajes de las hermanas, ha demostrado que cuando una persona se propone una meta y trabaja con disciplina, no hay obstáculo que la detenga.

Su compromiso se ve en cada clase, en cada tarea entregada a tiempo y en su asistencia puntual al taller de inglés, donde siempre llega con actitud positiva y ganas de aprender. Eso habla de su responsabilidad y del respeto que tiene por su propio crecimiento.

Pero lo que más nos inspira de Melissa es su sueño. Ella quiere continuar con sus estudios para convertirse en una excelente arquitecta y así poder ayudar a su familia. Ese deseo de superarse no solo para ella, sino para los que ama, es el reflejo de un corazón grande y de una mente determinada.

Melissa, hoy no solo te reconocemos por tus buenas calificaciones. Te reconocemos por ser un ejemplo para tus compañeros, por demostrar que la constancia vale más que el talento cuando este no se trabaja, y por recordarnos que los sueños sí se pueden alcanzar paso a paso.

¡Felicidades, Melissa! Que este reconocimiento sea un impulso más en tu camino hacia esa carrera que tanto anhelas. El Centro de Aprendizajes de las Hermanas está muy orgulloso de ti, y sabemos que Troncones también lo estará cuando veas construido el primer proyecto que diseñes.

We recently visited the public schools in Troncones and Majahua to better understand how we can support the incredible efforts of the Padres de Familia.

These parent-led groups work hard to fund maintenance and supplies for their schools, and our goal was simply to listen, learn, and assess where Las Hermanas can be most helpful.

We’re grateful for the time, insights, and dedication shared with us, and we look forward to supporting these communities in meaningful ways.

Recientemente visitamos las escuelas públicas de Troncones y Majahua para comprender mejor cómo podemos apoyar los increíbles esfuerzos de los Padres de Familia.

Estos grupos, liderados por los propios padres, trabajan arduamente para financiar el mantenimiento y los suministros de sus escuelas, y nuestro objetivo fue simplemente escuchar, aprender y evaluar en qué áreas Las Hermanas pueden ser de mayor ayuda.

Agradecemos profundamente el tiempo, las ideas y la dedicación que compartieron con nosotros, y esperamos poder apoyar a estas comunidades de manera significativa.

Arleth Ivon Benítez Ignacio

Es una alumna de tan solo 12 años, que cursa el primer año de secundaria en Troncones y asiste con constancia y entusiasmo a nuestros talleres de inglés en el centro de aprendizajes de las hermanas. Este galardón se entrega en reconocimiento a su esfuerzo incansable, su dedicación ejemplar y su actitud responsable, cualidades que la han destacado como un modelo a seguir para sus compañeros.

Arleth demuestra en cada clase su compromiso con el aprendizaje y su visión de futuro: su sueño es convertirse en una dentista profesional, y sabemos que con la misma entrega que pone hoy, logrará alcanzar sus metas y contribuir con su talento al bienestar de los demás.

This award is given in recognition of her tireless effort, exemplary dedication, and responsible attitude—qualities that have distinguished her as a role model for her peers.

In every class, Arleth demonstrates her commitment to learning and her vision for the future. Her dream is to become a professional dentist, and we know that with the same dedication she shows today, she will achieve her goals and contribute her talents to the well-being of others.

Student of the Month is Zoe Ortega Garcia

Congratulations to our dear Zoe!

Zoe is a first-grade student who has proven to be a true star in the Sisters' workshop. With her charming smile and infectious enthusiasm, she has won the hearts of all her teachers and classmates.

Zoe is a very caring and supportive girl, always willing to help her friends and share her knowledge. Her intelligence and dedication have led her to excel in all subjects, especially reading and writing.

But what truly makes Zoe special is her passion for animals. Since she was little, she has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and is already working hard to make her dream a reality. With her curiosity and love of learning, we are sure she will go far.

Mateo Garcia Salamanca is the Student of the Month

Mateo, a first-grade student at just six years old, is a role model. With his charming smile and friendly heart, he's a joy to have at the Sisters' Learning Center. He loves reading adventure stories and playing soccer with passion. His dedication in class and his supportive spirit towards his classmates make him stand out. With big dreams of becoming a firefighter or veterinarian, Mateo wants to save lives, put out fires, and care for the animals he loves. Congratulations, Mateo, you are Student of the Month! 👏"
