The School for Special Children

This mission is accomplished through provision of a clean, safe physical environment and improved nutrition during the school day.

The mission of the School for Special Children is to improve the educational opportunities for children with a wide variety of disabilities and in doing so, increase the probability that they might enjoy a brighter future. Working closely with the Mexican school board and teachers, we help to support the educational programs for the children, young adults and families. We approach our mission with

a respect for the Mexican culture, working as partners with the teachers, the families and the Mexican government.

Thanks and MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Thanks to all the people who purchased tickets to Behind the Walls home tours this season. What a great year! We sold out all tours at a faster than usual pace. You have all helped to raise money for the School for Special Children school in Jocotepec which serves students with physical and cognitive disabilities. We also thank our wonderful volunteers spotters and drivers! We couldn't do this without them.
