Access matters. ⚖️🤟
One of the passions at the heart of our Deaf ministry is access to justice. For many Deaf individuals, navigating the legal system is overwhelming, not because of the law itself, but because of the lack of language access. Without qualified interpretation, their voices can go unheard.
We are grateful that Lucas Everett is an officially appointed court interpreter for the State of Baja California (one of two). This appointment opens doors, giving Deaf individuals direct access to the court system with interpretation in their own language. It means communication, dignity, and the ability to fully understand and participate in legal proceedings that directly affect their lives.
As a ministry, we are committed to removing financial barriers. We intentionally cover Lucas’s travel expenses so that Deaf individuals are not required to pay for an interpreter when they are already facing difficult legal circumstances. Justice should never depend on someone’s ability to afford access.
This is more than interpretation, it is advocacy, equity, and love in action. We believe every Deaf person deserves to be seen, heard, and respected, especially in spaces where decisions carry lifelong consequences.
Thank you for standing with us as we continue working toward a world where access is a right, not a privilege.

Small hands, big futures. 🤟✨
We were honored to provide school supplies for this Deaf kindergarten class, thank you, Lord, for their Deaf teacher, Karen who serves and loves these kiddos well.
Deaf education matters. When Deaf children receive accessible language, resources, and support from the very beginning, their whole world opens up. 📚💛
We’re grateful to play even a small part in helping these little learners grow, thrive, and discover the gifts God has placed within them. 🙌🏽🙏🏼🤟🏼🇲🇽

🌍✨ International Week of Deaf People 2025 ✨🌍
This year’s theme from the World Federation of the Deaf reminds us:
“No Human Rights Without Sign Language Rights.”
We celebrate the beauty of sign language as a bridge of communication, culture, and community, and we thank God for the gift of reaching Deaf hearts in their own language. Pray with us that sign languages continue to be recognized, valued, and used to share God’s love with the Deaf everywhere.💙🤟

Hello friends,
Many of you have been faithfully praying for Josefina Everett since her stroke in November, and I want to share an update on her condition: She is continuing her physical therapy, and though the progress has been extremely slow and sometimes frustrating for her, we thank God for every small step forward. Rosa, her childhood Deaf friend, has been a tremendous help in encouraging my mother to do her daily exercises, which is such a blessing.
Josefina is still unable to move unassisted, but we are now practicing walking with a cane, with the support of another person, especially when going to the bathroom. Her short-term memory, however, continues to deteriorate; please keep this in your prayers. We consistently see her neurologist and try different medications, but as many of you know from similar experiences, it often feels like a process of trial and error, seeing if something helps, or stopping when it makes things worse.
The financial burden is also ongoing, as we are spending around $400 USD per week on physical therapy, a caregiver, medications, adult diapers, and other needs. We are deeply grateful for those who have given so generously to help cover these expenses. As our resources run low, we are praying and trusting that God will continue to provide.
In addition, please pray with us for provision of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a ramp, which would make travel much more manageable for both Josefina and Luke. This would be an incredible help as we continue to balance her medical needs with ministry opportunities.
We also ask for prayer for Luke, for his emotional and spiritual well-being, and that he may find his routine again as we soon embark on another Deaf ministry opportunity in Ensenada.
Thank you for walking this difficult road with us. Your prayers, love, and support are sustaining us through this season.
Lucas Everett

We had the joy of sponsoring the transportation for the local Deaf basketball team to compete in Tijuana! 🙌🏽 🇲🇽Before they left, we reminded them that God cares for their needs, big or small, and that this provision is from Him. 💛 We closed with a prayer of protection and blessing before sending them off. A beautiful moment of love in action! 🏀🙏🏽

We are a ministry of Angels of Love, Inc. dedicated to partnering with the other Deaf organizations in order to create equal access to education, housing, jobs, church life and other holistic needs in order to create a thriving and flourishing Deaf community.
Mission: To manifest the love of Jesus through empowering the Deaf to build flourishing communities around the globe.
Vision: To see thriving Deaf communities enjoy equal access to the holistic needs all humans deserve.
Core Values:
Embodying love: We believe love looks like something; we seek to meet the needs of those in front of us, whether it’s through a hug, a helping hand, or a home.
Fighting for equal access: Language and communication is vital to a persons identity. We believe that equal access to information is an important building block for any thriving community, which can look like participating in a conversation at the dinner table to understanding the doctor at your next appointment.
Having a hunger to learn: We believe that loving others means embracing and celebrating different cultures with humility, flexibility, and grace.
Honoring partnerships: We look to come alongside existing Deaf organizations by connecting them to resources in order to help meet their objectives. However, this is a team effort; we strive to cultivate ongoing relationships with those who share our passion of empowering the Deaf globally.
