🚨🌾 THEIR FEED BINS CAN’T WAIT — WE NEED HELP NOW. 🐴❤️

Friends, this is one of those posts I wish I didn’t have to make.

Pretty Horses Rescue is at the bottom of our hay funds, and we need help NOW.

We know diesel and fuel prices are hitting everyone hard. We’re feeling it too. Rides have slowed down, expenses have gone up, and everyone is watching their dollars a little closer.

But our horses still need the basics.

They still need hay. Every. Single. Day.

Our immediate goal is $500 for hay THIS WEEK. 🌾

$10 helps. $20 helps. $50 helps. Truly, every single dollar matters right now.

These horses have spent their lives giving so much back—to children, volunteers, visitors, and people who simply needed a horse beside them for a little while.

Today, they need us. ❤️

If you can help us reach $500, we would be incredibly grateful. If you can’t donate, PLEASE share this post. One share could put it in front of someone who can.

💔 HAY FUND EMERGENCY 💔
This week, we’re asking our village for a little help.
Trail rides have been slower than usual, and while visitors come and go, our horses still need to eat every single day. These incredible souls—many of them rescues—depend on us, and right now we’re short on this week’s hay bill.
Our goal is simple: $500 feeds the herd for the week.
Every bale matters.Every dollar matters.Every share matters.
The horses don’t know if trail rides were slow. They don’t know donations are down. They just know it’s breakfast time and dinner time, and they trust us to show up.
If Pretty Horses Rescue has ever made you smile, inspired you, welcomed you on a trail ride, or reminded you that kindness still exists in this world, would you consider helping today?
Whether it’s $5, $10, $25, or more, it all adds up and goes directly toward hay for the horses.

“The life in front of you is far more important than the life behind you.” 🤍🐎

Horses don’t look back… they move forward.
And maybe we’re meant to do the same.

If you’ve been needing a reset—this is your sign.

✨ Come stay in the cabin
✨ Come ride with us
✨ Come breathe again

And if you can’t make it out, you can still help us keep these horses fed and thriving.

We’re raising $500 by the end of April for hay 🤍

Every share, every donation, every visit matters.

Morning gossip at the watering hole

14/04/2026

What makes our horses happy??
Running full speed, tails up, living their best pasture life like they just got turned out after a week of bad decisions 😅

But… turns out happy horses also need good fences (who knew, right? 🙃)

Our pasture fence was hanging on by a prayer and some very questionable wire… and thanks to Mark stepping in, it’s getting the glow-up it desperately needed 🙌

Huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Mark for coming down, putting in the work, and helping create a safe space for these horses to run, play, and just be horses 💛

Because at the end of the day…
a strong fence = a safe horse = a happy horse

And watching them take off across the pasture, free and full of life…
Yeah… that’s what it’s all about.

But we’re not done yet… we’ve still got more fencing to repair to keep these ponies safe and happy 🐎

If you’d like to be part of it—whether that’s donating or coming out to lend a hand—we would LOVE to have you. It truly takes a village 💛

Happy Monday from the horses 💖💫

12/04/2026

It’s hard to admit this… but this past year set us back in a big way.

A large portion of our tack—bridles, reins, saddle pads, equipment we rely on every single day—was stolen.
Not just “things”… but the pieces that help us safely carry our guests, do our work, and give these horses the dignity they deserve.

And for a while… we just made do with what we had left.

But here’s the beautiful part 🤍

Little by little, people have started showing up.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to those who have already donated—saddle pads, bridles, reins, ice boots… every single piece means more than you know. These items are heading down to Baja to support our rides—rides that fund this rescue and bring awareness to the reality many animals face in tourist areas.

Because of you, these horses don’t just survive… they’re cared for, respected, and given a different life.

But we’re not fully rebuilt yet.

And this is where we humbly ask for help.

If you’ve ever ridden with us…
If you’ve ever loved a horse…
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something that truly makes a difference…

This is your moment.

📍I’ll be driving from Riverside down to Baja tomorrow and can pick up donations along the way.
Or we can coordinate another time that works for you.

You can also send items directly here:

Even something small—one pad, one set of reins, one item—helps us take another step toward being fully equipped again.

These horses have already lost so much before they ever found us.
We’re just trying to make sure they never have to go without again.

Thank you for standing with us… truly.

With fierce love and gratitude,
Pretty Horses Rescue 🐎✨

There’s something really special about moments like this 🤍

A rescued horse.
A curious little barn kitty.
And a human right in the middle… feeling it all.

This is what we see every day at Pretty Horses Rescue—
connection, trust, and the kind of love that doesn’t need words.

Wyatt didn’t always know this kind of softness.
But today, he gets to stand here… gentle, present, and safe.

And this moment? It happened because someone chose differently.

They chose to spend their vacation supporting a rescue.
They chose to show up, to connect, to be part of something meaningful.

That choice matters more than you know.

When you visit Pretty Horses Rescue, you’re not just booking a ride—
you’re helping us continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and honor horses like Wyatt every single day.

🌿 Spring is here, and the ranch is calling.
Come ride with us. Come feel this for yourself.

If you can’t make it out, you can still be part of their story:
