What a busy, beautiful, and blessed day at Casa Hogar Dayspring! ❤️

Today, we were reminded once again of God’s goodness and the beautiful ways He brings people together to bless our family.
We began the day by receiving a visit from DIF Ixcatepec, who generously brought lots of bananas and sweet bread for our children. We are so grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness!
Later, we had the joy of welcoming Mat Brown and his family from Handlebars of Hope, a ministry from Kansas; Pastor Gabriel from Iglesia Alfa y Omega in Pánuco; Pastor Sergio and his family from a children’s home in Reynosa; and our dear brother Daniel, who owns a bicycle repair shop in Pánuco and partners with Handlebars of Hope.
What a blessing it was to come together, share stories of what the Lord is doing in our lives and ministries, and hear how He continues to work in so many different places. And as if fellowship wasn’t enough, our children were blessed with bicycles! 🚲❤️ Just imagine the smiles and excitement!
Tomorrow, we will have the joy of spending more time together with games, laughter, and fellowship. We look forward to another beautiful day!
As we look back on today, our hearts are full of gratitude. We feel blessed, humbled, and honored that the Lord allows us to be part of His work here at Casa Hogar Dayspring. Every visit, every act of kindness, every friendship, and every gift reminds us that God sees these children, loves them deeply, and continues to surround them with people who care.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, for the people You bring into our lives, and for the privilege of caring for these precious children. All glory belongs to You!

💚 Cuidar el corazón también es cuidar la salud. 💚

En el marco del Día Mundial de la Salud Mental, nuestros niños disfrutaron de actividades y juegos preparados especialmente para ellos, mientras sus maestrosles hablaron sobre sus emociones y la importancia de aprender a reconocerlas y expresarlas de una manera saludable.
Porque crecer también significa aprender que está bien sentirse triste, enojado, alegre o tener miedo; que no tenemos que ocultar lo que sentimos y que siempre podemos buscar ayuda, hablar con alguien de confianza y recordar que no estamos solos. ❤️
Como Casa Hogar, nuestro deseo es brindarles no solamente un hogar, alimento y educación, sino también un espacio seguro donde puedan sanar, fortalecer su corazón y descubrir el valor que tienen, confiando en el amor de Dios.

Oramos para que cada uno de nuestros niños crezca con un corazón fortalecido, con esperanza y con la certeza de que su vida es valiosa y tiene un propósito hermoso en las manos de Dios.

Hoy Dios nos permitió recibir una vez más un recordatorio de que Él cuida de los pequeños y abre caminos donde nosotros todavía no podemos ver el final. ❤️
Recibimos con mucha gratitud al DIF Pánuco, quienes nos donaron catres, colchones y cobijas. Gracias por su generosidad y por sumar a esta labor que cada día hacemos con amor.
También tuvimos la visita del DIF Pueblo Viejo, quienes han puesto su confianza en Casa Hogar Dayspring al confiarnos el cuidado de un hermoso ángel.
Hoy queremos recibirlo con el corazón lleno de esperanza, agradeciendo a Dios por su vida y por permitirnos acompañarlo en esta nueva etapa.
Angelito comienza un nuevo capítulo rodeado de amor, cuidados y personas que desean lo mejor para él. Confiamos en que Dios seguirá guiando cada paso de su camino y preparando para él un futuro lleno de amor y propósito.
Qué privilegio poder ser parte, aunque sea por un tiempo, de una historia que apenas comienza.
Gracias, Señor, por la vida de Angelito. 🤍
Gracias DIF Pánuco y DIF Pueblo Viejo por su confianza y por permitirnos caminar juntos en favor de nuestros niños.
Porque en Dayspring creemos que cada niño es un regalo de Dios, cada vida tiene un propósito y cada pequeño merece crecer rodeado de amor, y amor, aquí hay mucho para dar 🥰
También recibimos queso fresco delicioso, gracias Fina y a su esposo por la bendición… Quesadillas de desayuno 😉

At Casa Hogar Dayspring, we try to teach every child something they should never have to doubt: you are special, you are loved, and your life has value.
We remind them to dream, to work hard, to pray, and to trust God with the life He has prepared for them. Because their past does not define their future—God does.

🇲🇽❤️ Una noche mexicana llena de alegría, historia y gratitud

En Casa Dayspring celebramos nuestra Noche Mexicana recordando a quienes lucharon por la libertad de nuestra nación, pero también enseñando a nuestros niños que la libertad no es solamente poder hacer lo que queremos.

Ser libres también es aprender a elegir lo correcto.
Elegir amar en lugar de lastimar, respetar en lugar de ofender, servir en lugar de exigir y hacer el bien aun cuando nadie nos esté mirando.

Nuestros niños están aprendiendo que cada día tenemos la oportunidad de tomar decisiones que pueden cambiar nuestro presente y nuestro futuro. 🇲🇽

Y sobre todo, damos gracias a Dios porque Él nos ha sostenido hasta este día. En cada dificultad, en cada aprendizaje, en cada pequeño logro y en cada vida que ha puesto en nuestras manos, podemos ver Su fidelidad.

Happy Birthday, Brennan!

Today we celebrate not only your life, but also the blessing you have been to all of us here at Casa Dayspring. ❤️

Your time with us as a missionary has left a beautiful mark on our home and, especially, on the hearts of the children. Your love, kindness, willingness to serve, and the way you have shared God’s love with us are gifts we will always be grateful for.

We truly believe God brought you to Casa Dayspring for a purpose, and we are thankful for every moment, every smile, every prayer, and every way you have served. You have become part of our Casa family, and you will always have a special place in our hearts. 🏡❤️

Busy days, blessed days! ❤️

Yesterday, we received the sweetest surprise: delicious homemade conchas, made by one of the best bakers around! 🥖☕ What a special treat and such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you so much to the kind heart who sent them our way—you truly blessed our whole house!
Today, we celebrated Kim’s life with a big pot of delicious green pozole and, by mistake, a coffee cake! 😂🎂☕ Somehow, the house is still VERY loud… so we’re patiently waiting for all that coffee to wear off! 😂
But in the middle of the noise, laughter, food, and craziness, we are reminded of how blessed we are to celebrate another year of Kim’s life.
