Fantastic Advances at Baja Montecito EcoVillage! We finally closed our roads to public traffic in late July and are now improving them with final grading, Rockwork, more Palms and more Trees!

Neighbors!

With the Abundant Rains we are having this year and with more to come; the wildflowers are already popping out and it is green everywhere! In January!

Don't forget to come to the botanical forest park at the top of the hill in Cantu "El Rinconcito Verde"... where the trails are closing in; but we are keeping them open and the hiking these days is awfully beautiful with all the green...and the first mini flowers are coming out. All these attached pictures were taken in the last few days!

Enjoy the many stone benches along your walk, even the big one at the entrance! BBQs ready by the summer, si Dios quiere!

I can't tell you how fun it is to be a part of babies' lives, hoping you'll be lucky enough to be around to watch them grow... I don't get enough time with my blood grands by far, and miss them so much.

AND: I'm blessed to be part of a multifaceted extended family in Mexico. 🙏🏽

And as a lucky consequence to be a part of the raising of little kids freshly born; and not yet born, and to be known as Grandpa or Abuelo is a priceless gift that i only hope i am worthy of... as I've made my mistakes for sure.

Here Patty and I are shown with grandson Oscarito Darìo now 3 mos.

And tiny Eimy, the first great- grand born just September 15th.

Hey all👋🏽
We (Patty and her three retired nurse sisters) are here in Indonesia and after a few days in Java have arrived in Bali; where I have been representing a carver since meeting him here in 2017...

Some of my clients from Del Mar where I helped design and build a house... have sent me here to have the main stairway railing carved from our designs, and so it is a working holiday for me but the women are out enjoying the world of Amazing Art, in this tropical paradise and deep rich culture. Tonight we will go to the theater to watch the story of ramayana in and outdoor setting with lotus ponds surrounding the area.

This is one of my favorite places in the world having spent my 23rd birthday here in 1975 where I spent three months full time 8 hours a day carving under a master Carver and learning Indonesian.

Now my excuse for having some business here is because I love to come back. The people are so gentle and kind and peaceful...and if they could make the tropics without mosquitoes I would be here full time, and I considered that before I chose Punta Banda.

Here are a few of the carvings from my buddy Dewaputumerta and I hope to have a show of his carvings at the gallery sometime later this year.
