📢 Thank you for your support📢

Meet two of our twins, Melanie and Emily. These two were suffering from severe migraines for months. Recently, we were able to get them to the doctor who determined their headaches were caused by vision problems, and, because of our generous supporters, we were able to immediately step in and buy them their prescription glasses. This might seem like an easy fix, but to many families in Juarez, this would take months to be able to afford. We are forever grateful to our supporters who make moments like these possible for so many of our little ones. ❤️

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with these little ones for another year. God continues to open doors and provide resources so that we can continue our mission to satisfy the physical, spiritual, and emotional hunger of the children in Juárez. Thank you to every individual, every church, and every business who has provided to keep our mission alive and thriving. You are every bit a part of this ministry as we are. Your generosity has impacted children in ways that we will never be able to fully share or express. Their stories- their lives- are a little less burdened because of you. These children now have an eternal hope because of their relationships with Jesus. They have the opportunity to attend school and graduate, thus providing for a brighter future. They have a safe place to learn and play with friends after school, keeping them out of the reach of local gangs and cartel. Thank you for being a part of this mission to serve and protect God’s children.

This week, our kids have been learning that ANYONE can share the message of Jesus, so they’ve been charged with planning and delivering the message to their peers. They have done such an incredible job praying over the message, making posters, planning a worship service, and preparing questions for the other kids. Milan even brought his broken microphone so the kids could “speak” into it🥹 It’s amazing seeing how God is moving through these young ones.

Thankful for the Bryan family who visited Hunger House for their second time! One of our favorite parts about missions is sharing it with others. Missions gives you the opportunity to share one another’s burdens, to carry out the great commission, to show radical love to God’s children who feel forgotten, unloved, and hopeless, and to offer up your time and your comfort for the benefit of others. We are so grateful for this family who selflessly gives their time to love on others and to introduce their children to the importance of going into all the word.

Each year, we make it our mission to not only teach the children the reason for the season (JESUS🙌🏻), but to also bless each child that attends our Hunger House with a gift. For the majority of our children, this will be the only gift they receive this year.

This week our kids are learning the story of the prodigal son. As they memorize the scriptures in Luke 15, we had them pause and consider the Father's love for them and how happy He is when His children return to Him. Today at our Tierra Nueva Hunger House, the kids got to decorate "Welcome Home" and forgiveness signs, representing the Father's joyful reception for His children.

Don’t let the overwhelming need in front of you concern you. If you’re following Jesus, He already knows how He will handle what He’s called you to. Be obedient. Have faith. Watch for God’s provision.

Our Los Aztecas’ team goes over and beyond; not only do they feed the children who attend the Hunger House, but they cook and feed anyone in the colonia who is hungry. People will often line up outside of the gate with their bowls or pots to receive the days meal. We are so grateful for a team that loves and looks out for their neighbors.
