With great enthusiasm, we celebrate the approval of Global Grant GG2682537 for the project:

“La Cuesta Community Health Center” of the Rotary Club of Chapala Sunrise (District 4140)

This international effort, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of South San Francisco in District 5150, will transform healthcare in the Lake Chapala region.

The project will fully restore and equip a public health clinic to serve indigenous communities that currently face significant medical challenges.

We want to recognize the leaders and clubs that made this possible:

• Sponsoring Clubs and Districts: Rotary Clubs of South San Francisco, Winnipeg West, Dover, Maryville, and Drumheller, along with the support of Districts 4140, 5150, 5550, 6110, and 6780, and direct support from Heart2Heart (H2H).
This project is more than just repairing a building; It restores hope and access to healthcare to more than 14,000 people.

Congratulations to the Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club for being and demonstrating that Rotary unites the world to save lives!

El proyecto restaurará y equipará completamente una clínica de salud pública para servir a comunidades indígenas que hoy enfrentan grandes retos médicos.

We are working on getting the two builds roofs of the secondaria sealed today at the school for children with different disabilities in Chapala before rainy season. 😊👍
Hoy estamos trabajando para sellar los techos de los dos edificios de la escuela secundaria para niños con diferentes discapacidades en Chapala, antes de que comience la temporada de lluvias.

We are hoping to get the rest of the exterior painting done at the school in Chapala for the kids with different disabilities over the Easter Vacation. More pictures to follow soon. 😊👍

Thanks to all that came out to our Denim and Diamonds fundraising event last night at the Raquet Club, it was was great to see so much support from the community. 🤠👍

Today's Meeting: 58 people; 8 clubs; 3 countries all came together for our Friendship Conference - Sunrise Style. We'll let the pics do the talking ... and stay tuned for more posts over the next 4 days! Gracias.

Club Meeting January 29, 2026: 1. Our guest speakers Ann, Elly and Joan from Lakeside Memory Neighborhood gave a moving talk on providing "a place to live well with dementia" lakeside. 2. Scott and Chris - On behalf of the Rotary Club Zapopan , Scott presented the donation of 40 gallons of paint and 200 inline residential water filters for the villages! Chris did some pinch-hitting to run the meeting. 3. Arlene and Susie - Arlene won the 50/50 Draw and donated back her winnings and Susie chipped in a bucket full of paint rollers for the upcoming Blue School painting project.
