We invite you to take part in a General Clean-Up Day in Akumal Norte.
Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025
Time: 8:30 AM
Meeting Point: La Buena Vida Restaurant (Parking lot)
This event is a united effort to preserve the beauty of our community. We'll be cleaning the roads, jungle, and mangrove areas to help protect the environment and strengthen our shared responsibility.
We are honored to have the participation of the Secretary of the Environment of the State of Quintana Roo, the Directorate of Ecology of the Municipality of Tulum, Cenotes Urbanos, the Centro Ecológico Akumal, the Akumal Delegation, local volunteers, partner organizations, and various community stakeholders.
We also kindly ask all workers, property managers, and homeowners to take part and support this initiative. Your involvement is key to its success and to setting a powerful example for our guests and residents.

What to bring:
Gloves, Trash bags, rakes.
Hat or sun protection
Community spirit!
How You Can Help:
Volunteer: Come and lend a hand! We need all the help we can get.
Bring materials and tools: We are in need of cleaning supplies such as trash bags, gloves, shovels, rakes, and other tools to assist with the clean-up. If you have any of these items available, please bring them along!
Bring drinks: Water, sodas.
Donate: We need donations to pay for trucks to collect the garbage ($1,400 pesos per truck) and supplies. You can donate by clicking here, or in cash to any board member on or before clean-up day.
Together, we can protect what makes Akumal special. Let’s show what our community can do when we unite!
