At 10:05 this morning, our squad take off from Heathrow Airport, beginning their journey to Acapulco, Mexico for the FIFG World Championships 🌍🏆

This is what it’s all been building towards — months of hard work, dedication, and commitment coming together on the world stage.

English President, Paul Boulton, shared his pride:
"A long journey awaits us but, as an association, we could not be more proud of this group of players. The preparation has been first class and we could not be happier to take this group. We wish them safe travels and the very best of luck during the competitions."

Now it’s time.

⚽ Match Weekend – Round 7 ⚽

🏆 North Club Cup
Regent Park hosted the second Regional Club Cup of the season and made full use of their home advantage to secure a crucial victory, keeping Bobby Fisher’s side firmly at the top of the table.
The standout performer of the day was Norbert Mankowski (Regent Park), who produced a superb display to record the best individual score across all matches, underlining the home side’s dominance.

🏆 South-East Division
Alex Hewitson continued his impressive leadership as his London side maintained their unbeaten start to the season. A strong performance saw them overcome Brighton and move to the top of the regional standings. National and South-East Tour leader Josh Paton (Brighton) also extended his excellent early-season form, setting the standard in Round 1 with another assured display.
Round 2 proved decisive, with the hosts again showcasing their strength across the format. The Roberts brothers delivered under pressure in the Betterball, sealing the overall victory.

Elsewhere, Pedham Place secured an impressive win over reigning National Champions Gatwick. Marcus Anderson was once again instrumental, continuing his scintillating form by contributing 50% of his team’s match points in a commanding individual performance.
Gatwick fought back going into Round 2 through Max Baker, who provided Matchplay victory to give the visitors hope heading into the closing stages. However, Pedham Place held their nerve to see out the match and claim the win, a result that lifts them into second place in the standings.

With momentum building across all regions, the competition is shaping up for a highly competitive season. 👀
