Today, we were honored to host the Vice Chairperson of the Association of Persons with Albinism in Malawi (APAM), Jameson Tambala, and Zomba Child Protection Worker, Duncan Chitukule, at our offices.

The meeting focused on strengthening our partnership and collaboration ahead of Albinism Awareness Month this coming June. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to promoting inclusion, protection, dignity, and equal opportunities for persons with albinism in Malawi.

We look forward to working together in raising awareness and advocating for the rights and wellbeing of persons with albinism in our communities.

Every person has the right to a fair hearing before the law. Taking the law into our own hands only spreads violence, destroys families, and weakens our communities.

As Malawians, we must promote peace, unity, and respect for human rights. Let us reject violence and allow the justice system to do its work.

Together, we can build a safer and more peaceful Malawi where justice is guided by the law — not by anger or fear.

Our Executive Director at Action Hope Malawi is currently attending a transformative workshop hosted by Girls Not Brides , running through Friday.

This engagement focuses on the Accelerator Programme—a catalytic initiative designed to fast-track efforts to end child marriage. Malawi proudly stands as the first country to implement this programme.

Through this platform, stakeholders are strengthening collaboration and driving advocacy to support the effective implementation of the National Strategy to End Child Marriage. The goal is clear: to accelerate meaningful, coordinated action that protects girls and secures their futures.

Together, we move closer to a Malawi where every girl has the freedom to learn, grow, and thrive.

Today, we had the honor of welcoming representatives from the Ministry Of Health - Malawi to Action Hope Malawi offices.

The visit was part of a partners mapping exercise aimed at appreciating and strengthening the role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in complementing government efforts in the health sector.

We are encouraged by this recognition and remain committed to working hand-in-hand with the government and other stakeholders to improve health outcomes in our communities. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier Malawi.
