The mission of Prospect Foundation Malawi is to give a chance to homeless and street kids to find a decent place to stay where they can be able to attend school and put their different skills to use. Every day I walk in the supermarkets in my country I find kids begging for money. They say they do not have a chance to go to school because they do not have a home where they can get proper school un
iform, food, water for a bath, someone to help the do their homework and they do not have a role model. They do not know what it is to be successful; there is no one to inspire them. I thought to myself, “What if we give these kids a chance to go to school just like the other kids who have proper homes do?” Can we raise future presidents, Teachers, Ambassadors, Scientists, Doctors out of them? For sure we can, each of these kids has got the potential to be somebody. Why not give them a chance and a hope for that! I am here to make sure that I build up an organization that will give these kids a home and a future. I also want these kids to showcase their different talents by introducing a part time Art school at the organization which will include Fine and Performing Arts like Drawing, Painting, Music and Dance and Drama.
