Mlambe Health and Social Trust is proud to announce the purchase of our very first electric vehicle.

This milestone reflects our commitment not only to improving health and social wellbeing, but also to protecting the environment we all depend on.

By transitioning to clean energy transportation, we are reducing carbon emissions, minimizing air pollution, and contributing to a healthier community for present and future generations.

Environmental protection is a shared responsibility.

MhEST End of Term Awards Ceremony – 16th April 2026

MhEST proudly hosted its End-of-Term Children’s Behaviour Modification and Academic Performance Awards, celebrating the hard work and dedication of our learners.

The ceremony recognized children who showed remarkable improvements in behavior, as well as those who excelled academically by securing positions 1–10 during the second academic term (January–April 2026).

Awardees received assorted gifts including clothing, shoes, scientific calculators, and backpacks as a token of appreciation for their commitment and positive efforts.

We were honored to have about 100 attendees join us:
-66 children
-14 teachers from 7 partner primary schools
-City Council Social Welfare Officer
-CSO representative from Nditha Foundation
-Friends of MhEST
-MhEST staff

Thank you to everyone who continues to support and inspire these young minds.

We are working tirelessly to ensure that children connected to the streets are protected, rehabilitated, and safely reintegrated into their families.

At our resource centre, we provide counseling, therapy, and ongoing support. Enrolling children back in school and working closely with their families to help rebuild safe, loving homes and brighter futures.

Education Within Reach.

We are celebrating a huge milestone and an impact of our latest project — the construction and completion of a full primary school at Chaoloka.(Standard 1 - 8, and 8 teachers houses)

Before this school was built, many children had to walk long and exhausting distances of over 4 kilometers every day just to attend classes. Some faced unsafe routes and fatigue that made learning difficult.

But today, that has changed.

With the new school 923 (459M & 464) children can now learn closer to home — safely, happily, and on time. Enrollment and attendance rates are rising, and families feel hopeful for the future.

This project is about empowering children with opportunity, bringing education closer and opening doors to a brighter future for every child .
