🌟 Success Story Alert🌟

We are thrilled to share a heartwarming success story that truly embodies our mission of achieving social justice and equality. Recently, we had the honour of assisting Mr. Charleston a hardworking man who had been struggling to receive his rightful pension.

Mr Charleston has been working for a certain company until the termination of his contract earlier last year. As per company’s policy and personnel regulatory frameworks, Mr Charleston was supposed to receive his pension payment within 3 months following the contract’s termination. At the point, Mr Charleston reported the issue to OSWASiM officials, it has been more than six months since the pension has not been disbursed.

Overall, It has been a cut-throat period for Mr Magwadeza to sustain his family during this jobless period after the contract termination by the company and hope for the rescue is pension money he has been awaiting.

Seeing that the company is retrogressing labour laws of the country, at the same time violating its own personnel regulatory framework, OSWASIM took a step in, reaching out to the company. The intervention has yielded results. The company has promised to make all necessary payments to Mr Charleston due course.

Charleston story is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Every individual deserves to live with dignity and security, especially in their later years. Our success in helping Charleston reinforces our dedication to ensuring that everyone receives fair treatment and equal access to their rights.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported this effort, from our dedicated staff to the empathetic officials who understood the importance of Charleston case. Together, we are making a tangible difference in our community.

Let’s continue to stand united for social justice and equality. Every victory, big or small, brings us one step closer to a more just world.

✨Malawi’s Education Rescue: Empowering Women Through Education🔥

The incidence happened at One Stop Center in Ntcheu District, Central Malawi. A girl within the range of 14 to 18 years of age was refrained by the mother of going to school instead helping with beer brewery, the only active source of income that the family depends on. Withstandingly, on a certain day, the girl was tempted and ran away with the money she obtained after selling beer out of her mother’s consent. After three weeks, she was reported that a friend, a bit order than her and a pr******te, was housing her and for that three weeks period she was taught and practiced prostitution. Now the girl is said to have caught STIs. After OSWASiM officials’ consultations with the mother, the child was brought back to the family and privileged to restart school harmoniously with the mother promising not to ever discourage the girl from going to school in anyway.

This is a celebrated and cherishable intervention by OSWASiM

The message to all is that, parents should prioritize their children's education over short-term financial gains, as it can lead to long-term benefits for the entire family. On the other hand, Open communication between parents and children is essential. Had there been better communication between the girl and her mother, the situation might have been avoided or resolved sooner.
