💔 Our communities are hurting…

The recent floods have left many families struggling, with homes destroyed, belongings lost, and lives disrupted. It’s heartbreaking to see the impact on people who were already doing their best to get by.

But this is more than just heavy rains. This is climate change and, more importantly, climate injustice.

Those who contribute the least to global warming are suffering the most. And that’s not fair.

We need to stand together as a community and as a global family
🤝 Support those affected
📢 Raise awareness
🌱 Push for real climate action

Every voice matters. Every action counts.

Let’s come together to support those in need and fight for a better, safer future.

Diary of a Volunteer| Feeding Program at Mwai Children-Based Care Centre

In Ntima Village, Oliver Suhrbier joined hands with the Mwai Children Based Care Centre, where 50 vulnerable children were given care, nourishment, and hope.

This feeding program was more than just sharing a meal it was about creating joy, and showing the children that they are not forgotten. Each plate of food carried a message of love, support, and possibility for a brighter future.

Through acts like these, we are reminded that true community empowerment begins with compassion ensuring that the most vulnerable have the foundation they need to grow, learn, and dream.

Diary of a Volunteer: Entrepreneurship in Action

From the sparks of steel welding in Sogoja to the creativity of soap-making in Nkagula, young people are proving that entrepreneurship is more than business it is empowerment.

In Zomba’s Sogoja community, Olivier demonstrated how welding can become a pathway to entrepreneurship, showing others that practical skills can be transformed into real opportunities for income and community growth.

Meanwhile, in Nkagula, the Chiyanjano Youth Club explored soap-making as another entrepreneurship exercise. With every bar of soap, they discovered the power of teamwork, innovation, and the potential of turning local resources into valuable products.

These experiences show that when youth are given the tools and mentorship, they can unlock their potential, build sustainable futures, and inspire others around them.

Together, we are nurturing a generation of changemakers who are shaping their communities with skills, creativity, and determination.

A Magical Day on the Zomba Plateau

On 21st August 2024, African Harmony Collective led fifteen young explorers from Zomba on a life-changing environmental adventure powered by Ascentia, Ontario with the mentorship of Hilary Van Welter.

Their journey led them through four powerful stations:

The Mystery of Strange: where children became Nature Elders and spoke with forest animals about how to protect their shared home.

Believers Bend Garden: where they stepped into a future shaped by today’s choices. Would it be polluted and broken, or green and thriving? The answer lies in action now.

The Power of Water: where they became water, feeling its joy and its pain, and created songs to honour its life-giving force.

The Trading Tree: where every child discovered their unique strength and pledged to protect the planet using their inner power.

These children didn’t just learn they transformed. They made a promise to plant trees, protect water, and become guardians of the Earth.

This was no ordinary field trip it was a spark for real change, supported by

Together, we are nurturing a new generation of environmental champions.

Support and follow our journey their adventure is just beginning.
