This summer, we are Celebrating Partnerships! We want to thank YOU, who have provided prayer, financial support, letters, time, in-kind support, and engaging partnerships to serve the communities we work in. With celebrating serving just over 700 children in this year alone, we want to highlight the impacts that have come through 21 years. Throughout these next weeks, keep an eye out for special posts that demonstrate the difference that God has made through you!

Big visions take time, hard work, and persistence. At Sustainment Farm, we are turning vision into reality by constructing a model household that shows what sustainable living looks like in practice. Right now, we are molding bricks for the house. Once complete, this home will feature a compost toilet, a well-watered vegetable garden, a thatched bathroom, and fruit trees. The goal? To demonstrate practical solutions that promote sustainable livelihoods and self-reliance for families in our community. Follow along as we build!

Meet Misheck. His road to restored mobility has included multiple surgeries at Beit CURE hospital. Recovery means giving his body what it needs: nutrition for wound healing, bone growth, and overall health. Thanks to our supporters, Passion Center provides Misheck with maize flour, cooking oil, soy flour, sugar, eggs, peanut butter, dried fish, beans, and bananas. This is what holistic care looks like. Thank you for helping restore life, one meal at a time.

Educative play isn't just fun, it's how our kids master what they learn in class. After school, they review lessons through activities that boost memory, performance, and general knowledge.

Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to provide study lights to some of our incredibly dedicated students! Light is critical for students to be able to study after it gets dark since many live without electricity. Providing the tools for students to do their best is what where are here for. May God bless each of them as they finish out the school year!

Champs Mobile focuses on providing a wide range of interventions to improve the quality of life for children living in communities that are far from our clubs and may not have regular access to our services. This month, we visited the Jali Mobile Kids. During our visit, the children received physiotherapy and occupational therapy, along with spiritual support. We also measured the progress of their specific conditions. This support is designed to help the children reach their full potential and lead as independent a life as possible, with God's help and healing

Pray with us this May...

1. Student Progress: We are grateful that the children in the programs have successfully resumed their third school term. Please pray for their continued focus and diligence for the remainder of the academic year.
2. Salvation Decisions: We praise God for the many individuals who have made decisions for salvation through our collegiate ministry, sports ministry, and VBS programs this past month.
3. Expansion: Please pray for the upcoming exploration visits for new Passion Center for Pastors sites.
4. Chikondi Home: We celebrate the successful response to the Chikondi Home fundraiser and are thankful for the support received. Pray for the Lord to open a door to purchase land for the home near our existing Mulunguzi properties.
5. Graduation: We ask for prayer regarding the upcoming graduation for the School of Ministry and Missions. We pray that God will raise an army to join our growing ministries.

Just in time for our Race for Chikondi Home success, we welcomed a set of twins, bringing our total number of infants in Chikondi Home to sixteen. When the twins arrived at Chikondi Home, the babies were underweight, weak, and showed signs of malnutrition. However, we thank God that within just a few days of being at our home, they have started to regain their strength and have been smiling happily. We are praying for their nutritional health to be fully restored.

We give glory to the Lord that these beautiful babies will receive comprehensive care and support—physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and academically—so they can grow healthier and stronger and fulfill their God-given potential. Praise the Lord!

This story is one for the books...

Our Vocational School's 4th Cohort graduates are currently participating in internships where they are applying their skills in real-world settings. One remarkable example involves our bricklaying graduates who are building a house for a beneficiary of the Passion Center. What makes this project even more special is that one of the bricklayers, Umali, is also a beneficiary of the house. He is actively involved in constructing a home for himself and his five siblings who are also Passion Center recipients: Christina who recently graduated from the Tailoring cohort, Juma who is in our Chikondi Home, and Fatima, William, and Cedric who are in the Residency Program. This story highlights the positive impact that Passion Center programs have in providing for kids' immediate needs and for their future, empowering young people to take an active role in improving their own lives and communities.

The Community Health Network (CHN) team, through its emergency response initiative, donated essential items to support a pregnant patient admitted to Zomba Mental Hospital. The donation followed a call for help when the patient went into labor, but the hospital lacked basic supplies needed for delivery. The team provided baby wrappers, clothes, diapers, and other items to assist during and after childbirth. In addition to the donation, the team also transported the patient to Zomba Central Hospital, since the government ambulance was not available at that time.

Mrs. Kalua, a social worker representing the hospital, expressed her gratitude to Passion Center for their quick response. During the handover, she said, “Thank you so much for this donation. It will truly help our patients and ease the challenges we face, especially since our facility does not have items for pregnant mothers. I am deeply grateful for the Passion Center’s commitment and quick action when we asked for help.”

The CHN ministry is one of Passion Center’s outreach programs dedicated to serving communities in need. We thank God for the opportunity to restore hope in times when people desperately need help; to God be all the glory.
