"For the past year, I have struggled to read small print, but purchasing prescription glasses was beyond my financial means. When I learned about the Vision Clinic at Passion Center, I sought assistance. Receiving these glasses has made a significant difference in my life, and I can now read materials that were previously difficult or impossible for me to see. I am truly grateful for this support." - Vision Clinic Recipient

For vulnerable members of our community, access to quality eye care can mean so much more than clearer vision. It can mean restored dignity, greater independence, and the ability to live and work with confidence. We are grateful to God for the tangible impact the Vision Clinic has had for those who would otherwise have limited access to essential eye care services.

Please Join Us in Prayer!

We’re excited to share that Aaron & Jully Bullock , along with their two young sons, have been commissioned by LC3 (Lake City Community Church) to serve with the Passion Center beginning September 1st!
As they step into this new season of ministry as a family, we invite you to stand with them in prayer.

🙏 Pray for safe travels and arrival in Malawi.
🙏 Pray that they would be a great encouragement and blessing to the Passion Center staff.
🙏 Pray for God’s protection, strength, and wisdom over their family.
🙏 Most of all, pray that God would use them mightily and that their time in Malawi would have a lasting impact for His Kingdom.

What an incredible opportunity to serve, love, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Thank you for praying with us and standing behind the Bullock family as they answer the call!

Little steps toward healing for Patience ❤️

When Patience joined our Infant Rescue Program, severe malnutrition had left him with severely knocked knees, making walking painful and delaying his development.

Thanks to our partnership with Beit CURE International Hospital in Malawi, Patience was able to receive corrective surgery, and we’re so grateful to share that his surgery went well! His dressing has been changed, and he is healing steadily.

Even through the pain, Patience showed incredible courage. We are so thankful to God for watching over him and grateful for all of our partners who make life-changing care like this possible.

Please continue to pray for complete healing, strength, comfort, and a smooth recovery as Patience takes his next steps toward healing. There is power in prayer!

Supporting Our Champions Through Occupational Therapy 💙

Every year, we are blessed to welcome occupational therapy (OT) students who generously give their time to come and assess some of the children in our Champions Club, our program supporting children with special needs.

These assessments are an important part of helping us better understand each child’s individual needs and identify ways we can support their development and daily lives. We are so grateful to the OT students for their time, expertise, and heart for serving our children.

Weston is a 3-year-old boy who sustained a burn injury on his left foot while playing. Due to financial constraints, his family was unable to take him to the hospital for medical care. He was later placed under the care of his grandmother, who applied traditional herbs to the wound. Unfortunately, the wound became infected. Following advice from neighbors, Weston’s granny sought help from our Community Health Network (CHN) volunteers. The volunteers assessed the wound and began cleaning and dressing it daily. Fortunately, after just eight days, the wound fully healed.

We thank God for Weston’s healing and for the dedication of the CHN Ministry in reaching vulnerable individuals and providing care to those who cannot afford it.

Our efforts to expand the Early Childhood Development (ECD) program continue at Faith Community Church in Mulanje, where ongoing assessments are being conducted to identify eligible children under five for the ECD program. During the process, our staff is engaging with parents and guardians, listening to their experiences and stories, and gathering important information. These assessments are crucial for ensuring that every new ECD initiative aligns with Passion Center’s vision and mission.

Please continue to pray with us that God will guide our team throughout the assessment process, give us wisdom in every decision, and lead us according to His purpose as we seek to expand our ECD and reach more underprivileged children.

A holistic approach is essential for achieving lasting transformation in communities. In this picture, Ireen and Tryness proudly receive two goats—one male and one female—as part of our Goat Pass-On Project. This initiative is designed to promote economic empowerment and self-reliance within households.

As the goats reproduce, the beneficiaries will pass on two goats to another household, creating a sustainable cycle of sharing, empowerment, and community development.

Together, we are not merely providing goats; we are creating opportunities, fostering self-reliance, and strengthening livelihoods—one household at a time.

Transportation is one of the biggest barriers to accessing healthcare and specialized services for our kids who have a disability. One way of overcoming these barriers is through conducting a Champ's mobile outreach every week. This weekly activity brings specialized and multidisciplinary care which is directed towards the child, and the entire family. Through these outreaches, we provide physical, occupational, and speech therapies which improve the livelihood of our kids. We currently have 10 Champs who do not have a sponsor. Make a difference by sponsoring a child today: https://bit.ly/3S4M3oq

Prayers for Praise! Praise and his mom are finally on their way to Israel for the scheduled surgical treatment. They will be there for approximately 4 months. Please keep them in prayer as they travel, keep the medical team in prayer as they treat Praise, and keep his family in prayer as they await their return.
