The Community Health Network (CHN) team, through its emergency response initiative, donated essential items to support a pregnant patient admitted to Zomba Mental Hospital. The donation followed a call for help when the patient went into labor, but the hospital lacked basic supplies needed for delivery. The team provided baby wrappers, clothes, diapers, and other items to assist during and after childbirth. In addition to the donation, the team also transported the patient to Zomba Central Hospital, since the government ambulance was not available at that time.
Mrs. Kalua, a social worker representing the hospital, expressed her gratitude to Passion Center for their quick response. During the handover, she said, “Thank you so much for this donation. It will truly help our patients and ease the challenges we face, especially since our facility does not have items for pregnant mothers. I am deeply grateful for the Passion Center’s commitment and quick action when we asked for help.”
The CHN ministry is one of Passion Center’s outreach programs dedicated to serving communities in need. We thank God for the opportunity to restore hope in times when people desperately need help; to God be all the glory.
