We believe an educated Malawian girl has the potential to be self-reliant, enjoy good health, be less likely to get married as a teenager or accept gender-based violence and more likely to educate her children, hence transforming her life and community. That's how Voices Awake: GirlsEquippedForChange was birthed. Voices Awake is reaching out to girls who have experienced abuse, dropped out of school, forced into early marriages or prostitution, and are hopeless in life by getting them back to school, school sponsorship,abuse awareness,life skills and leadership development, loving them, and walking life with them.
