Bolero Youth Open Day.

As we are in a mental health awareness month. This coming Sunday FOBEC/Sewa's Blossom will be at Bolero for youth open day.

Come and attend mental Health sessions, access other services such as HIV testing, STIs testing, Family planing and counseling.

This shall also act as platform for the youth's to interact and display their talents in singing, Drama, acrobatics, dancing etcetera.

Su***de awareness month

Psychologist Flora Sewa of Sewa Blossoms has urged young people to seek counselling instead of resorting to su***de, which continues to claim many lives.

She was speaking in Rumphi during a youth “chillspot” organised by For Better Change Organization (FOBEC) and Sewa Blossoms under the Dolo Amasaka Chithandizo initiative aimed at raising awareness on su***de prevention.

FOBEC’s Mackson Ngulube said many youths struggle with heartbreaks, drug abuse and debts, leading to risky decisions. A UNIMA student, Ernest Kawonga, described the sessions as interactive and helpful.

World Su***de Prevention Day is commemorated every year on September 10.
