We are busy in the fields harvesting the rewards of our hard work.

Farming has sustained the Mwansangu Youth Organisation for years, and now we are taking it to the next level. We are upgrading our operations to a commercial scale and embracing mechanization to maximize our impact.

The future of farming is here, and it belongs to the youth!

Today, We joined fellow youth representatives from Dowa, Ntchisi, and Lilongwe for a powerful session of knowledge sharing and inspiration in Mchinji district.

During the visit, we had the privilege of touring Jusi Youth Club and Gomani Youth Cooperative.

It was truly inspiring to see how they are sustaining their operations through diverse ventures, including bee-keeping, piggery, and various small businesses. Their dedication proves that with the right mindset, youth groups can be self-sufficient and impactful!

This transformative experience was made possible through the generous support of FAWEMA under the IHEARD Project. We are deeply grateful for the investment in our leadership and for providing us with the tools to bring these best practices back home to Ntchisi.

We are coming back energized and ready to implement these lessons to strengthen our own groups and boost our community projects!

As the tree-planting season draws to a close, we have a quick question for you:

Have you planted a tree yet?

If the answer is yes, that’s a fantastic first step!
But remember, planting is only the beginning. The real work is in the care. A tree needs protection and water to grow strong.

Are you checking on yours regularly?
Let’s make sure the trees we plant today become the forests of tomorrow!

While many are inspired by the growth of Mwansangu Youth Organisation, the real secret is not in what we have, but in how we manage.

True transformation begins with a mindset change. For any youth club aspiring to grow, the focus must shift from seeking abundance to mastering the leadership of little. It is about how you start and how you steward the few resources at your disposal.

This coming Sunday, 15 March, we are excited to welcome the Nthondo Youth Network from Ntchisi for a learning visit with a focus on these core values of leadership and resourcefulness.

Let’s lead from where we are.
