🌍 Strengthening Partnerships, Transforming Communities! 🤝

Today, Tingathe Development Forum (TIDEF) had the privilege of participating in the Egmont Trust Partnership Meeting, bringing together leaders from various non-governmental organizations and Egmont Trust officials to reflect, share experiences, and explore practical strategies for creating meaningful and lasting change in the communities we serve.

The meeting was both fruitful and thought-provoking, providing an important platform for open dialogue, shared learning, and constructive discussions on how we can strengthen our partnerships, improve program implementation, address emerging challenges, and maximize our collective impact.

At TIDEF, we believe that strong partnerships, community-driven solutions, and a shared commitment to social development are essential to building resilient, empowered, and thriving communities. The insights gained from this engagement will further inspire us to strengthen our work in empowering women and children, protecting vulnerable girls, preventing child marriages, and creating opportunities for sustainable community development.

Our efforts to end child marriage in Lozi Community, Nkhotakota District, are achieving remarkable progress and creating lasting change. Through strong community collaboration, more girls are staying in school, families are becoming more aware of children's rights, and communities are taking collective action to protect every child's future.

This success has been made possible through the unwavering commitment of the Malawi Police (Mpondaga Police Unit), local schools, traditional leaders, community members, and the generous support of our donor, Firelight Foundation (USA).

At Tingathe Development Forum (TIDEF), we believe that empowering women economically is one of the most effective ways to build resilient families and thriving communities.

Through our climate-smart agriculture initiative, local women are being supported to cultivate rice using sustainable farming practices that enhance food security, increase household incomes, and strengthen resilience to the impacts of climate change.
