Building climate resilience, one beehive at a time🌿🐝
The Youth for Climate Justice team and trees for tomorrow team recently visited Lisale, where new beehives generously provided by CARMA were installed to support the community.

This initiative will not only help restore biodiversity, but also create sustainable livelihood opportunities for families through honey production. The visit allowed young climate leaders to engage directly with the community, understand their challenges, and witness how climate solutions can be practical, local, and life-changing.

Together, we are growing trees, protecting ecosystems, and empowering communities for a greener tomorrow. 💚🌍

✨ Caravan of Hope ✨�Amplifying stories of resilience from the margins 🌱.

We visited different districts with organisations like JCED, doing incredible work for communities. Along the way, we met people who were affected by Cyclone Freddy, those facing problems from the heat wave, and others who have faced great challenges due to lack of water yet continue to stand strong. From building houses, providing clean water, restoring forests, to setting up irrigation schemes, and even introducing chitetezo mbaula, learn etc,we witnessed how these efforts are restoring resilience. 💧🌳🏠

With the aim to give people hope that there is a better tomorrow, thanks to JCED and partners, we are reminded that change is possible. 💚

It’s our job to fight climate change and support where we can sometimes through action, sometimes through joy, music, and dance. 🎶🌍@tambaafricasocialcircus

Our Trees for Tomorrow🌳project continues to take root.On a vibrant day of growth and learning, we witnessed exciting progress in our fruit tree nursery, with young trees standing strong and healthy. On the same day, we also held a hands on workshop with community members, focusing on how to properly care for the fruit trees. We covered key techniques like mulching to retain moisture and improve soil health, and netting to protect the tender trees from animals and harsh weather. It was a day of nurturing both trees and knowledge — because when communities grow together, so does the future. 🌱🌳🍋

Farewell to an amazing team!💚
It’s hard to say goodbye to such an incredible team.
We have made such a great impact together through our different projects for the past 3 months( March-May 2025)🌟. From planting vital trees in Lisale and contributing to a greener and healthier Malawi🌳 to planting invaluable knowledge into the minds of young people, empowering the next generation of environmental champions 💡and having the privilege of teaching students essential basic ICT lessons, opening up new worlds of opportunity and digital literacy 💻.
Learning each other’s languages and sharing our cultures 🎶and growing from our diverse perspectives and supporting one another while making progress in the projects has been amazing, every moment has been invaluable. We’ve forged great friendships that will last a lifetime, filled with shared lunches, countless stories, and unforgettable memories.

They brought the energy, the knowledge, and the passion—leaving students inspired, informed, and ready to join the fight for a greener, fairer future.
