At earth.workshops .malawi under Nkhata Bay Eco-Lodge & Volunteering
As we plan and prepare our agoecology demonstration plot, we are looking forward to introducing tree grafting as one of the practical techniques that will be demonstrated and shared with farmers.
Grafting can help us combine strong, locally adapted rootstocks with productive fruit varieties, creating opportunities to improve fruit production while making better use of available trees and resources.
Our demonstration plot is being planned as a learning and practical space where we can explore agroforestry, soil health, biodiversity, organic fertilizer, water conservation, mulching, sustainable food production and other agroecological practices.
