You’ve known us as one thing. Now we are becoming something more.
Since 2016, NewGen Arise has been a movement of young Malawians who refused to be bystanders. We cleaned public spaces. We visited the sick. We mentored students. We drilled boreholes. We built school blocks and churches. We did what we could, with what we had, where we were.
Many of you walked with us. You volunteered. You donated. You prayed. For all of that, we are deeply grateful.
But over time, we learned something important. The large‑scale construction projects, the boreholes, and the free homes needed a permanent, sustainable home. That led to the birth of Apex Kwathu Builders Ltd, a registered construction social enterprise that now handles all the building, training, and water projects work. We did not die. We multiplied.
So what becomes of NewGen Arise?
We return to our original fire. And we grow into a new purpose.
Starting today, NewGen Arise will focus on three things:
🔷 INSPIRE – Through talks, school outreaches, and storytelling, we will share the stories of ordinary young people doing extraordinary things in their communities.
🔷 EQUIP – Through leadership labs and mentorship circles, we will give young people the practical skills to organise, communicate, and lead community initiatives.
🔷 MOBILISE – Through community action days and spotlight features, we will celebrate and support young people who are actively serving right where they are.
And our compassionate work continues. Our Orphans Care Program, Student Awards, and Scholarship (Bursaries) Program will remain right here under NewGen Arise—now as part of our mission to mobilise young leaders, not as standalone charity projects. We will still visit the vulnerable. We will still invest in education. That will never change.
What moves to Apex Kwathu Builders Ltd are the professional construction, borehole drilling, and vocational training programmes that need a permanent, self‑sustaining home.
The logo remains. The hands raised in hope remain. The belief that a new generation is rising up—that remains our anthem.
But the call is now clearer: Arise. Your community is waiting.
If you’ve been with us since 2015, thank you. This new chapter is built on the foundation you helped lay.
If you’re new here, welcome. There is room for you. There is work to do. And it begins with you.
