๐ŸŽ“โœจ FROM MENTORSHIP TO GRADUATION โœจ๐ŸŽ“

When Haroon Osman joined the NACC and Friends of Namwera mentorship sessions, he was like many young people, uncertain about university selection and how to navigate campus life. Through mentorship, guidance, and encouragement, he took the next step with confidence and was selected to Lilongwe University Of Agriculture And Natural Resources (LUANAR) .

Today, we proudly celebrate him as a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture and Fisheries.

Haroon is not only one of our mentorship success stories, but also the son of our dedicated NACC M&E Manager Osman Saidi making this achievement even more special to the NACC family.

This is why we mentor. This is why we invest in young people. Congratulations, Haroon! Your journey is inspiring many more youths to believe in their dreams. ๐ŸŒโœจ

This is how Morning Circle looked like at Chingwenya ECD Centre ๐ŸŒžโœจ Our interns, Jacob Moyo Jacob and Chisomo Makhula, at it again โ€” creating a fun, warm, and engaging learning environment for the little ones. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

Morning Circle is one of the most important moments at an ECD centre as it helps children build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and social interaction while preparing them mentally and emotionally for the dayโ€™s learning activities. Through songs, greetings, play, and interaction, the children learn best while having fun. ๐ŸŒˆ

Honestly, who wouldnโ€™t love ECD? ๐Ÿฅน Isnโ€™t this just the cutest thing ever? ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘ถ

EXCITING NEWS:STEM IN ECD

Building on the team-based learning experience from Graziano, our interns from Malawi Assemblies of God University Jacob Moyo and Chisomo Makhula were on the ground at Chingwenya ECD centre yesterday. They worked closely with caregivers to support the dayโ€™s lessons while simultaneously assessing the centreโ€™s application of Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) in early learning.

Through this process, they are identifying key gaps that will inform a targeted in-house training, aimed at strengthening how caregivers deliver Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics using practical STEM techniques.

This continuous learning and replication approach supports national priorities under frameworks like the National Education Sector Investment Plan (NESIP) and the Early Childhood Development Policy Malawi, ensuring quality and impactful learning in the early years.

STRENGTHENING STEM IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT ๐Ÿš€

Our interns from Malawi Assemblies of God University MAGU, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development, have successfully completed a hands-on mentorship and coaching with Graziano ECD caregivers on teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The journey began with a thorough assessment that identified key gaps, they equipped caregivers with practical, child-friendly approaches to teaching Science, Technology, and Mathematics using modern STEM techniques. They went further to practice and demonstrate methodologies with children.

This initiative directly supports Malawiโ€™s national priorities under frameworks like the National Education Sector Investment Plan (NESIP) and the Early Childhood Development Policy Malawi, which emphasize quality learning, innovation, and strong foundational skills from the earliest years.

The journey continues: the team is now heading to Chingwenya this week to expand this impact and reach even more caregivers and children.

Building strong foundations. Empowering caregivers. Transforming futures.
