We proudly participated in World Environment Day through a clean-up exercise at Kanengo Market. The activity was organized by TEGA and aimed at promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.

The event brought together different organizations, including MAGGA ,HIVA,TEGA and DMI Eco Club, in a collective effort to promote environmental sustainability and community cleanliness.🌍♻️💚

HIVA Initiative Participate in World Menstrual Hygiene Day in Blantyre

HIVA Initiative proudly participated in the World Menstrual Hygiene Day commemorations held in Blantyre. The meeting was organized and facilitated by Flying Girls Malawi, bringing together various stakeholders committed to promoting menstrual health and empowering girls.

The discussions focused on educating participants on proper menstrual hygiene management, supporting girls during menstruation, and providing guidance on how communities, parents, and schools can create safe and supportive environments for adolescent girls.

HIVA Initiative was represented by Miss Patience Muyaya and Miss Gertrude Monomala who actively participated in the discussions and engagements aimed at advancing menstrual health awareness and ensuring that girls have access to accurate information and necessary support.

The event highlighted the importance of breaking menstrual stigma, promoting dignity, and empowering girls to reach their full potential through education and access to menstrual health resources.
