Judith foundation is an Organization whose goal is to empower young men and women, the elderly and everyone affected by any challenge of life. The initiative is based on the vision to enhance high self esteem for everyone who has undergone harsh experiences of life that requires special help. Survivor’s programming is rooted at helping to save life, empowerment on social change, encouragement on psychological challenges, economical empowerment, equipping others with life skills and real life changing stories. JF provides room for people to map the way forward after hostile experiences of life which may have left them affected to either a smaller or greater extent. It among other initiatives embedded in its programs strategies to give hope to the hopeless, help in renewing people’s dreams of life, counsel the depressed, train people to be reliable citizens of the land, provide a platform for problem sharing and solving, and nurturing life after a tragedy.

Our Director participated in the District Child Protection Committee meeting, bringing together stakeholders committed to protecting children and supporting vulnerable young people.

The meeting featured an inspiring presentation by St John of God on Inclusive Education and Climate-Resilient Vocational Training for Children with Disabilities and Vulnerable Youth in Northern Mzimba,highlighting the importance of inclusive education, skills development and access to social services.

We also heard valuable presentations from Social Welfare and Mzuzu Prison and Ungweru Organisations strengthening our collective understanding of child protection and rehabilitation and restorative Justice and Peace building.

At Judith Foundation, we believe that protecting children takes collaboration, inclusion and collective action.

Our production team has completed the school bags, and they are now ready for distribution to our students under the Judith Foundation Bursary Programme.

What makes this even more special is that the bags were made by our very own Tailoring students at Judith Foundation ,young people who are learning a practical skill while using their talents to support fellow students.

BACK TO SCHOOL!

What started with one student has grown into a journey of thousands of lives touched, dreams supported and futures changed.

Our students are back in their respective schools, ready to continue their education. We have successfully completed the verification process and are now ready to proceed with school fees payments.

At Judith Foundation, we remain committed to supporting students at risk of dropping out of school due to financial challenges and other barriers to education.

We keep going. We keep investing in education.

Our Director participated in the commemoration of the International Day of Peace, held at Katoto Grounds in Mzuzu, under the theme: “Empowering Youth as Agents of Peace, Unity and Socio-Economic Transformation.

As Judith Foundation (JF), we were honoured to contribute to this important platform, with our Director taking the lead in delivering the Peace Declaration on behalf of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).The declaration reaffirmed the commitment of CSOs to continue playing an active role as agents of peace, unity and social cohesion.

The event brought together the youth, church leaders, women, persons with disabilities, media ,academia and CSOs, alongside government officials, the UN Resident Coordinator and representatives from the Ministry of Local Government. JF joined these diverse stakeholders in strengthening dialogue, collective action and meaningful youth participation in promoting peaceful and inclusive communities.

At Judith Foundation, we believe that without peace, sustainable development cannot be achieved.
