Ulalo We bridge children and youth to safe, quality and equitable education for sustainable development

We tackle the challenge of Children and Youth failing to reach their potential by partnering them, their schools, communities and governments to design and deliver solutions that ensures completion of primary and secondary education, equip them with skills to attain further education, overcome gender inequities, start businesses, get jobs, and drive development in their communities.

Leadership starts with a single commitment 📚

As school doors open this term, our School Performance Officers are leading from the front.

They know that improving literacy and numeracy skills across Malawi starts with individual dedication.
Applying the Individual Team Organization (ITO) approach, Timothy F Chima said:
"Proactive planning is my strength as an SPO, as I strategize each school visit, take responsibility for my impact on RCT schools, and work with my team to deliver results."

True leadership is taking ownership of the mission.

ULALO BEFIT QUARTERY REVIEW MEETING IN PROGRESS

Ulalo is holding its Quarterly Review Meeting from 16th to 17th April, bringing together School Performance Officers to reflect on the past quarter and plan for the one ahead.
The meeting provides a space for reflection, shared learning and practical strategy building, with high performing schools sharing what is working to support improvement across all schools.

Executive Director James Gondwe emphasized the ITO (Individual, Team, Organization) approach, reminding everyone that actions at every level directly shape overall performance and the impact we create. School Performance Officers have been encouraged to fully utilize available resources to deliver quality results and maintain high standards.

As we begin a new quarter, Ulalo continues to commit itself to ensuring that every child improves and excels in literacy and numeracy skills, contributing towards Malawi 2063’s vision of a highly educated and skilled population and building an inclusively wealthy and self reliant nation.
