Edgar Mkandawire, a 17-year-old rising talent currently playing for Bwenzi 365 Sports Academy Under 23 and Mzimba Secondary School, continues to make headlines with his exceptional performances on the pitch. The young star has impressed many football lovers with his composure, skill, and ability to deliver in crucial moments.

Edgar played a pivotal role in helping Mzimba Secondary School clinch the Northern Region MASSA GAME'S title, where he scored the all-important winning goal and was deservedly named Man of the Match. Mzimba District Youth Football Committee (MDYFC) is inviting teams that are interested in participating in the 2026 Mzimba District Youth Football League to register for the upcoming season.

The league will consist of the following categories:

FCB Under 19

M'mera Mpoyamba Under 16

Nthanda Under 14

Under 12

All teams willing to take part are encouraged to register early to secure their participation in the 2026 season. The league aims to continue promoting youth football development and creating a competitive platform for young player's.
