CCAP EDUCATION DEPARTMENT – 2025 YEAR-IN-REVIEW MEETING

The CCAP Education Department held a special Review Meeting to reflect on how the year 2025 has unfolded. It was a meaningful moment to look back on our achievements, acknowledge the challenges, and highlight the key lessons that will shape our work moving forward.

We celebrated significant milestones in strengthening education delivery, supporting schools, empowering teachers, and improving learning outcomes across our communities. At the same time, we took an honest look at the obstacles we faced and discussed practical ways to overcome them as we head into a new year.

A heartfelt thank you to all our team members, partners, and stakeholders who continue to contribute to the mission of providing quality education for all. Your dedication and collaboration make a real difference.

As the Education Department, we joyfully join the entire Synod in celebrating this milestone. For over a century, education has been at the heart of the Synod’s mission-empowering lives, nurturing leaders, and transforming communities through knowledge and faith. ✝️📖✨

We thank God for guiding the Synod from 1875 to this day, and we remain committed to continuing the legacy of providing quality education that uplifts both the church and society.

CCAP SYNOD OF LIVINGSTONIA TO CELEBRATE 150 YEARS OF CHRISTIAN WITNESS AND NATION-BUILDING

The CCAP Synod of Livingstonia is excited to announce the 150th Anniversary Celebrations, set to take place on 16 - 17 August 2025 at Mzuzu Stadium under the theme:

“MOVE FORWARD” (Exodus 14:15).

This milestone marks a century and a half of faithful service in evangelism, education, healthcare, justice, and development across Malawi and beyond.

Since 1875, the Synod has grown from a few mission outposts to a powerful spiritual and developmental force, impacting over a million members in Malawi, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. The Synod continues to run schools, hospitals, the University of Livingstonia, and numerous community development initiatives.

The climax event in August will feature:
• A public thanksgiving worship service
• Historical exhibitions and hymn festivals
• Musical and cultural performances
• A mission and development fair
• Recognition of missionary and indigenous pioneers
• Launch of commemorative publications

Local and international guests, including government leaders and global church partners, will be in attendance.

As we celebrate our past, we also look ahead - committed to expanding our spiritual mission, investing in youth and innovation, strengthening partnerships, and continuing to advocate for justice and good governance.

We invite all church members, partners, and the general public to join us as we honour the past, celebrate the present, and move forward with God.

📚✨ TRANSFORMING EDUCATION IN TA MABULABO, MZIMBA! ✨🏘️

In a powerful partnership, The World Servants and The CCAP Synod of Livingstonia Education Department have brought a lasting change to the communities of Kavibale, Entandweni, Mphunju and Mkazimasika through the construction of the following:

✅ At Kavibale, a brand-new 2-classroom school block with an office, a house and a clinic for the Healthy Surveillance Assistant.
✅ At Entandweni, a brand-new 2-classroom school block with an office is now giving children a safe, inspiring place to learn.
✅ At Mphunju, 2 modern teacher houses have been built helping attract and retain committed teachers.
✅ At Mkazimasika, a brand-new 2-classroom school block with an office is underway.

These projects are not just about buildings, but about the people. Community Members and The World Servants Participants worked hand in hand sharing knowledge and skills.

The impact? 🎉
• Improved school attendance
• Better teacher retention
• Easy access to health care services
• A stronger, united community
