Mr Kafudza is a grandfather of two children , a girl and a boy who are in primary school. He had charranges providing basic needs, including food and school materials. In 2025, he was selected by GOFAO to benefit in economic activities like piglets and local chicken pass on program, VSL, and livestock training, modern agriculture training ( how to make Mbeya- cheap locally made fertilizer) and provided starter pack farm inputs and loan in club of 10 parents. He applied knowledge he got in training and applied mbeya fertilizer in his garden, which is showing positive impact. Mr Kafudza said that he will have enough food this year and is able to support his grandchildren with basic needs.

After receiving interest soon after finishing repaying 2025 loan , 7 clubs of parents of child marriage survivors and children at risk have started buying livestock like goats as their achievement. These will be added to pigs they received last year and will be passed on to club members as soon as they breed. This aims at empowering these parents economically, which will help them support their children with basic needs and school necessities

As one way of empowering child marriage survivors economically, GOFAO has initiated vocational skills trainings ( tailoring) .15 survivors will benefit from this activity. This will be a 3 months training and started on 3rd March 2026 . After graduation, survivors will be put in groups of 3 and be provided with starter pack kits to start small-scale businesses.

Bungwe la Golden Family Community Based Organisation ( GOFAO) lapereka ziweto; mbuzi ndi nkhuku za chikuda, kwa mabanja makumi anayi (40) kudera la Nyengere m'boma la Dowa.

Mkulu wa bungweli, Yamikani Chikho, wati bungwe lawo lachita izi ngati mbali imodzi yothana ndi umphawi omwe ukumakolezera kuti ana adzikwatira komanso kukwatiwa ali achichepere.

Iwo ati akukhulupilira kuti ziwetozi zithandizira kulimbikitsa makolo pa chuma ndi cholinga chakuti adzitha kugulitsa ndikugulira ana awo zofunikira kuti adzipita kusukulu.

Mmau ake, Oliveta Chidamtere, wayamikira bungweli, ponena kuti izi zithandizira kuonjezera kapezedwe kawo ka ndalama kuti adzithandizira ana awo , pomwe ali pankhondo yothetsa maukwati a ana kwa Nyengere.
