This afternoon,we're so heartbroken and saddened to hear about the devastating sad news of the passing of Mayi Zelesi or Namayani as others knew her.She suffered for a long time and efforts to save her life proved futile after seeking medical help for multiple times😢She was one of our supported most deserving needy old women in our community.She was a sister to Kondwani's father.May her soul fly high in heaven🙏

Means of transport has been really a great challenge for Kondwani these days,with the frequent breaking down of the motorcycle and a hike in fuel prices whereby disturbing travelling.Today,he visited a motorcycle mechanic to have it checked and see the possible solution.We hope that the problem will be fixed as soon as possible and get our charity works on the ground going smoothly as before🙏

Yesterday,heavy rains of blessings fell on the Ladess's family after they received a surprise care package with some lovely gifts like clothes,bags among others.A family very far and which they don't know or ever met in real life kindly poured out their hearts in the package to show some love and care for this most deserving needy family.The story of this family is so touching and heartbreaking😢For those who regularly follow this page know exactly the real story behind this family.The young poor baby in the photos is Ruth,her late mother Mposayani left her while breastfeeding which was really very unfortunate for both her and her immediate family looking for her future ahead.After a fruitful family meeting,Ladess kindly offered to add the baby to her own family a thing that pleased many in her blood line.She's the elder sister of late Mposayani (may her soul continue resting in internal peace) It's a mother of testimonies to see the baby growing vibrant and with sound health🙏

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kylie Brooke Popham and your children Erin and Evie.It's the best thing raising your children knowing that it's good to help others in need even in any little possible ways.Most definately,as your children will be growing up,they'll be among the most kindiest people in the world.The gifts brought so much joy to the family and have made the family's bond even stronger.Thank you all for being a beacon of hope!

Just a quick update on the progress of our ongoing Pig Pass-On Program;

The program is benefitting many poverty-stricken individuals and families in the sense that they're now able to buy food,farm inputs while ensuring food security,buying tin iron sheets to fix the leaking grass-thatched roofs,paying school fees and buying school supplies,crops,paying medical bills,and other basic needs of life after selling their bred pigs.This was not the case before the birth of this lives changing program.However,despite this good revelation,there has been some challenges like lack of pigs feed especially during this period of hunger crisis,outbreak of diseases which made it impossible for the beneficiaries to get their pigs properly treated due to lack of money and because of the current hunger situation,about 3 beneficiaries were tempted to sell the passed on piglets and buy food to save their lives which was against our Memorandum Of Understanding(MOU)but we still understood their desperation for food because they wouldn't be able to be buying the feed for the pigs(maize husks)whose cost was exorbitant while themselves were sleeping on empty stomachs😢

Just recently,Lilongwe District Council has imposed an immediate ban on the movement,
slaughter,and sale of pigs and pork products until further notice following a surge in African Swine fever cases.This measure is aimed at controlling the further spread of the disease.We're therefore civic educating the beneficiaries of the program to fully comply with the ban.Most definately,this ban will affect the program in one way or the other and it's our hope and prayer that things get better as soon as possible🙏

We just got these 3 lovely steel pots in the last container from one of our anonymous supporter to help us with our feeding program.These will be put to good use and most definately will ease up the pressure our volunteer care givers usually had in the kitchen using one pot.

Thanks to this kind donor and The Bananabox Trust for consistently helping with shipment of the containers with donations to different charities here in Malawi. Your team work spirit is just amazing and together we're transforming many lives in the communities that we work in🙏
