Exciting Mentorship Success at Magawa Secondary School in Commemoration of International Adolescent Health Week (IAHW)!
Yesterday, we had the privilege of successfully delivering a mentorship program at Magawa Secondary School in Mchinji, Malawi, in celebration of International Adolescent Health Week (IAHW). This year’s theme, “Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Building Adolescents' Resilience,” provided a powerful framework for equipping the next generation with skills and insights to thrive in today’s world.
This impactful event was made possible through the incredible collaboration of youth leaders from YALI Malawi Chapter, Maphunziro 265, Friends of Mchinji, and Mlatho Farms, all dedicated to empowering young minds.
As part of the celebration, we held an exciting spelling competition, rewarding the top performers. The first-place winner walked away with MK10,000, and the second-place winner with MK5,000!
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, especially the students who showed great enthusiasm and talent. Together, we are nurturing resilient and empowered adolescents who are ready to lead and thrive!
