Our Executive Director Madalitso Masache, the driving force behind the Bwalo La Atsikana Education & Leadership Programme, honoured to serve as Guest of Honour at the New Foundation School graduation. Through our partnership with Teams Advancing Women in Agriculture (TAWINA), he has empowered over 240 learners across 14 primary schools in Lilongwe and Dowa—building their leadership capacity and championing child rights. Today, we celebrate their growth.

According to media reports, this is the only girl sitting for 2026 Standard 8 exams at Mangale Primary School in Mangochi.

She is one girl, but she represents the hope of many. Let this be a wake‑up call—not a reason to lose heart. Every girl in class is a promise we must nurture. Teachers, keep showing up. Parents, keep believing. Together, we turn ‘only one’ into ‘just the first. Rights Advice Centres - RAC wishes her all the best during the exams and beyond. May her courage inspire teachers and parents everywhere to support every girl’s right to learn.

On 28 April 2026, Rights Advice Centres (RAC) participated in the Labour Trafficking Awareness meeting held in Blantyre, Malawi, an initiative organized by the University of Georgia's Centre on Human Trafficking Research & Outreach (CenHTRO). Subsequently, Madalitso Masache, Centre Manager, engaged in a televised panel discussion on Angaliba TV, focusing on labour trafficking awareness.

RAC remains committed to advocacy efforts on human trafficking. Centre Manager Madalitso Masache stresses that the Malawi Government, via the Ministry of Homeland Security, must support District Coordination Committees Against Trafficking in Persons to effectively combat trafficking in Malawi.
