Iqra’a University Student Achieves Highest National Grade in ICAM FA4 Business Accounting

Amidu Katawa, a student at Iqra’a University, has been recognised as the ICAM Best Student Awardee in FA4 Business Accounting after achieving the highest grade nationally.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for both Katawa and the university, highlighting the importance of academic excellence, dedication and hard work.

The university has congratulated Katawa on his outstanding performance and encouraged him to continue striving for greater achievements.

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما reported: The Prophet ﷺ said,

“The son of Adam has three hundred and sixty joints, and charity is due upon each one of them every day.
- A kind word that a man speaks is charity.
- A man helping his brother with something is charity.
- Giving someone a drink of water is charity.
- Removing harmful things from the road is charity.”

(Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 11/55)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported: Nabee ﷺ said:

“.... Adultery of the eyes is when it looks [at that which is haram], adultery of the ears is when it listens [to haram], adultery of the tongue is uttering [haram], adultery of the hand is touching [what is impermissible to touch], adultery of the feet is when it walks [towards haram]. The heart desires and hopes for [haram] and the private parts either succumb to these desires or resists the temptation.”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2658)

Hayyan Abi al-Nadrah reported: I went out to visit Yazid ibn al-Aswad as he was suffering a fatal illness, and I met Wathilah ibn al-Asqa’ رضي الله عنه who also wanted to visit him. We entered Yazid’s home and Wathilah رضى الله عنه said, “What do you expect from Allah?” Yazid said, “By Allah, I expect good from Allah.”

Sayyiduna Wathilah رضي الله عنه said:

Rejoice! For I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that Allah Almighty said:

I am as my servant expects me. If he expects good, he will have it. If he expects evil, he will have it.

(Sahih Ibn Hibban 641)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reports:

“Nabi ﷺ once addressed a group of people who were seated saying, ‘Shall I not inform you of the best of you from your worst?’ They remained silent. When Nabi ﷺ repeated this question for the third time, one person said, ‘Certainly O Messenger of Allah, inform us who is the best from the worst’.

Nabi ﷺ said: ‘The best among you are those whose goodness is hoped for, and [people] are safe from his evil and the worst of you is he whose goodness is not hoped for, and [people] are not safe from his evil.”

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2263)
