ADVERTISEMENT FOR TENDER: SUPPLY OF LEARNING MATERIALS
The Forum for the Development of Youth with Disabilities (FDYD) invites qualified and reputable suppliers to submit sealed bids for the Supply and Delivery of Learning Materials under the following categories:
1. Tailoring Learning Materials
2. Stationery
3. Teaching and Learning Materials for Arts and Crafts
4. Teaching and Learning Materials in Cosmetology
5. Teaching and Learning Materials for Electrical Installation
Requirements:
• Bidders must be registered and possess a valid business license.
• Bidders should provide proof of similar supplies undertaken in the past 3 years.
• All materials must meet quality standards appropriate for vocational training.
Submission Details
Tender documents must be clearly marked with the category being applied for and submitted in a sealed envelope to the FDYD Secretariat at Off Mugabe high way, Namiyango community,Opposite namiyango mosque , no later than 27th June 2025, at 17:00 HRS.
Late submissions will not be accepted.

We had the privilege of being trained in various food processing products juice,wine and fruit jam making as part of efforts to promote organizational sustainability for Namiyango CLC ( Forum for the development of youth with disabilities - FDYD ). This incredible opportunity was made possible through the support of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, in collaboration with the Malawi National Commission for UNESCO and delivered by the dedicated staff of Magomero college . Through this training the center is now equipped with skills on food products using locally sourced resources and will be launching its own Juice,wine and Jam Brand
With its proceeds being fueled into supporting and uplifting the lives and wellbeing of children and Youth with disabilities.

We just wrapped up an incredible two-day beekeeping training.

Huge thanks to ZeniBee Enterprise Ltd for their amazing expertise and patience as they taught us everything from honey bee biology,smoker techniques ,hive inspection and harvest to the intricate dance of the honeybees. We learned so much, from the queen's royal duties to the worker bees' tireless efforts and required vegetation .
Thank you Sable farming company limited for hosting us and generously providing us with the necessary Assistance to begin our new project.

On 26th March 2025 Forum for the development of youth with disabilities - FDYD through Bangwe YOUTH network mw youth in Bangwe, with the generous support and donation of sanitary wear and hygiene products by Hands of Hope Malawi , hosted a vital event for girls and young women who are part of local youth clubs within Bangwe.
The activity consisted of an inclusive training on menstrual health,hygiene and distribution of reusable sanitary pads, providing a sustainable solution for managing their periods and staying in school.
Throughout the training girls and young women had the privilege of interacting with other young women in tertiary education who are role models and played a pivotal role in motivating them to work hard and go the extra mile .
This initiative breaks down barriers and empowers these young women and girls to thrive. We're grateful for the partnership and the collective positive impact towards girls and women empowerment.
