The Smile of Malawi organization today donated a total of 67 mattresses to the children’s ward at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.

One of the project’s funders, Diogo Alves, who is based in Portugal, said the initiative is part of the organization’s efforts to celebrate a Christian occasion.

A Lilongwe-based official of the organization, Isabel Alves, said that in addition to the mattresses, the institution will also donate a package of various items, including Likuni Phala during christmas.
