World Renew Malawi, in partnership with Eagles Relief and Word Alive, spent the past 2 weeks piloting the use of the Talmids App to integrate digital implementation and monitoring of Youth Running Clubs (YRC), as well as Church And Community (CNC) programming.

We love it when Suzgo smiles 😊

The smile on Sugzo’s face says so much.

For years, Judith’s family carried deep pain and hardship. Through Free A Family, they began to find healing and hope. With support and counseling, their family started to experience new care, dignity, and acceptance. Their community also began to embrace Sugzo, who has a disability, as an image bearer of God. Over time, as the family became more stable, they were able to purchase a wheelchair that helps him move more easily.

The fuel shortages in Malawi continue.

A long queue of vehicles has formed at a fuelling station near Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe this morning.

As of 07:45 AM, the queue had stretched from the filling station along the road slowly going toward Gulliver Bus Stop on the Area 25 road.

The situation comes amid a worsening fuel shortage across the country, with many service stations reportedly running out of fuel.

The government has attributed the shortage to a lack of foreign exchange in the country, as well as the ongoing Iran–Israel and U.S. conflict.

Last week, the Malawi office held a 3-day training for our partner staff. Our main focus areas were:
-Core Humanitarian Standards
-Monitoring and Evaluation
-Writing impactful stories of transformation.

We worked hard and played hard. Surely just what the doctor ordered! 😄
