🌟 WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY | Celebrating Impact🌟

Today, our Woman Crush Wednesday is Ruth Zimba— and this one is especially meaningful to us.

We started supporting Ruth when she was in Form 1 through our Beautiful Minds Scholarship. From Form 1 through Form 4, we had the privilege of walking alongside her as she pursued her education, nurtured her dreams, and worked towards her goals.

Today, we celebrate Ruth for an incredible achievement: 14 points in her MSCE examinations!

For us, this is more than celebrating an excellent result. It is a reminder of why investing in girls' education matters.

We saw a young girl with potential, and we chose to invest in her journey. Today, we get to celebrate the young woman she has become and the doors this achievement can open for her future.

This is the impact we hope to create — supporting girls today so they can step confidently into their tomorrow.

MSCE Mentorship in Progress!

We are excited about the progress of our one-on-one MSCE Mentorship Sessions. It has been encouraging to see applicants openly share their career interests, questions, and uncertainties as they think about their next steps after MSCE.

A special appreciation goes to Sarah Khudze, who is bringing her experience in career guidance and mentorship to these individual sessions. Through these conversations, she is helping applicants understand their strengths, explore career pathways, and make more informed decisions about their future.

But the journey does not stop there.

Where possible, we are also connecting applicants with professionals who studied the programmes and are working in the fields they are interested in. This gives them an opportunity to hear directly from people who have walked the academic and career path they are considering, ask practical questions, and gain a clearer picture of what to expect.

We believe career guidance is not about telling a young person what to become. It is about helping them explore, ask questions, learn from others, and make informed choices about their future.

We are excited to share that Reach Out to Girls has received funding from Mudzi Connect to establish a Science Laboratory at Nsipe CDSS in Ntcheu!
This will provide learners with a dedicated space to explore, experiment, and gain practical science skills. We are grateful to World Connect for investing in the future of learners and helping us create more opportunities for quality science education in Malawi.
