Our Mission is to empower local communities, the poor, vulnerable and excluded to identify and address the root causes and effects of their poverty and injustice within their context through rights based approach to sustainable development. Our Vision is to ensure that lives of individuals and communities are changed through holistic development. Our Objectives are:
Offer developmental assistanc
e for projects and programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of the poor and vulnerable people of Malawi;
Offer emergency relief assistance in moments of natural disasters and calamities, such as drought, floods, earthquakes, fire, ethnic, social and political crises and so on to victims of such calamities;
Offer social services to the socially disenfranchised (socially marginalised), general health and HIV and AIDS services, shelter provision, child care services, handicapped rehabilitation programs, literacy programs and related services, aimed at providing help to victims, their families and/or their communities. Lobby, mobilise, educate, research, pray and network with others of like mind to bring about a change in policies, structures and systems that affect the livelihood of people. Advocate and network with other organisations for change in national policies, practices and systems that affect the livelihood of people.
